  • "Soar" is a strong word when you consider they were higher less than a week ago. Can't wait for the next thing he says to drop the market before the weekend so his boys can get in on the next pump and dump. He literally tweeted "NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO BUY" right before he paused the tariffs.

  • I know this is a hot take, but I used to respect how he did his podcast back in the day. Never liked him and always thought he was a garbage human but he at least tried to bring all kinds of people with different view points on. And than as soon as he got "fuck you" money he turned out just to be like any other "bro" with fuck you money. And I am so sick and fucking tired of rich people bitching about losing their money now after so many regular people have been suffering under this administration. It's only a problem now because it affects you. Like, you all knew he was going to dismantle the government and y'all are just pissed he is fucking you over when you thought you'd be part of the in crowd when he took over. Y'all thought this was only going to affect minority groups and poor people and were perfectly fine letting everyone else but you suffer. And I don't wanna hear any of that "I DiDn'T kNoW He WaS gOnNa Do tHiS" bullshit because they all knew this was going to happen while they played games with millions of people's lives for money and power.

Sorry for the rant. I'm just getting really really really impatient with all this bullshit.

Edit: I was gonna specify this was about Joe Rogan but then realised 90% applies to all of them anyway.

  • It's all good I just turned 30 and I finally have a job where I can break even with my finances. Now for the second job so I can use the next 30 years to pay off my debt. At this rate I'll be just ahead enough to get my retirement job with no social security. 😎

  • I guess a power grab doesn't work out as well as you want when you put the most selfish people around into positions of power. I know I'm being optimistic, but I hope they keep getting mad at each other.

And it's not an excuse to get complacent either. We need to keep the momentum with protesting.

  • If you joined the administration and didn't realize you were just there to be used like everyone else, I'm sorry but you can fuck right off. You're just mad that your selfish wants aren't as important to the ones above you.

The only reason they are following blindly is because they want their own little slice of America when the dust settles. They are all selfish pieces of human garbage that want nothing more than to have more power than they deserve and will do whatever daddy tells them to do in order to get it. Problem is the person in charge of the highest office in the country is the most selfish of them all and doesn't give a fuck about anyone else in the entire world. Even if he's a Russian asset or doing his own bidding, it's only because he wants the exact same thing as the rest of them. And at the end of the day, whether it's the president, Putin, or the heritage foundation, the people making the decisions will get what they want and everyone else will get absolutely nothing.

  • If it was marketed and used for what it's actually good at this wouldn't be an issue. We shouldn't be using it to replace artists, writers, musicians, teachers, programmers, and actors. It should be used as a tool to make those people's jobs easier and achieve better results. I understand its uses and that it's not a useless technology. The problem is that capitalism and greedy CEOs are ruining the technology by trying to replace everyone but themselves so they can maximize profits.

  • Well they need to speak up. If you work for one of these companies or even Twitter, it's not like they wont find any reason to fire you these days anyway. I understand that self preservation is a big part of it and I wish people could say what they want without risk of losing their livelihood. But at the same time fear is exactly why we are in this situation. Fear of your boss, fear of the government, fear of being deported, fear because of your identity, fear of your republican neighbors... Fear is the point. Without it they wouldn't be able to do half the shit they are doing. If we keep being fearful they will take everything we have.

  • I appreciate it more because it's generative AI based off of user created content and their own content. I respect that more than using outside sources that got their training data from god knows where and just slap that shit in there and call it a day.

  • I've seen some people play it and it seems pretty cool. Although it doesn't look amazing and seems pretty shallow, it's only $40. The price tag alone is almost enough for me to give it a try. Any of the Sims games are hundreds of dollars at this point if you wanna buy the DLC. And that's on a decent sale, too.

  • My portfolio is down 40% since January. I'm just glad I took most of it out before it got too bad so I've only lost about $1,000. I was about to open a retirement account too but decided against it when things started tanking and I'm glad that I didn't.
