  • The fact that you can find the images on "Know Your Meme" says a lot about our society. Not necessarily a bad thing, but more that memes and TikTokers are doing more investigative work than the US government. But also pretty dystopian ngl.

  • Replying to a fan's complaint on X, Donaldson admitted it "definitely isn't the experience we hoped they'd deliver" and promised to make it up by inviting everyone affected to his studio.

I feel like this could have been on purpose. If it wasn't he would have offered refunds.

  • My only thing is that I hope they fixed some of the blaring issues with the original. I still go back and play Oblivion from time to time, but I usually have to spend 4 or 5 hours just downloading and installing mods. My biggest gripe with Oblivion has always been enemy scaling. Unless you do the main quest first you'll be fighting the strongest enemies in the game by the time you get around to it.

  • I don't think she should be careful. If anything, being as loud as possible and staying in the public eye is what all Democrats should be doing. Because if they do start deporting people that actually speak the truth everyone will know when and how it happens. You can't hide it and they can't effectively make a move against her that won't be seen by the entire world. And I think it's a sign that we all need to start doing this. If we're loud and seen instead of raging behind our phone screens it's a lot harder for people to just disappear.

  • But at the same time nobody in Germany even knew about any of the times there was an attempt on Hitler unless they wanted the people to know for some reason. There were many attempts, it's just that most went unnoticed until the end of the war.

  • And regardless of whether or not they succeed, humanity will carry on. I'm not saying this as a means to be complacent and to just let it happen, more that whatever damage they do will be nothing in comparison to the span of decades and centuries. And if we all go back to the stone age or make it out and go head first into the next age, future historians will look back on this time period as either the time the rich tech companies took over the world or another group of dipshits tried to take over the world again. And I don't know about you but I'd rather have this shit be a single page in the history books. And if history has taught us anything, they will fail eventually. Whether it's next Tuesday or in 40 years, they always fail in the end. I just hope it's sooner rather than later so we don't make thousands of innocent people suffer or die just so cowards can feel good about themselves.

  • I guess I'll piggyback on the other comment and say laziness doesn't exist at work. People definitely have off days or hate their job, but I'd say pretty much all the "laziness" I have experienced in my life at different jobs usually boils down to awful work conditions, managers or bosses that don't care about you, not getting paid enough for the actual work, or general distain for your corporate overlords if you work for a big company. Some may call me lazy, but I'm working exactly as hard as I feel like they deserve when I'm 30 years old and still living in a studio apartment one paycheck away from being homeless. And I'm not gonna work at 100% when 100% of my needs are not being met. And I make more than anyone else in my family so I'm technically the "successful child."
