I've been watching the stock market since the inauguration and companies like Target have been dropping significantly faster than companies like Costco that didn't roll it back. It's all going down, but the anti-dei ones are going faster.
Edit: just looked and Costco is down 8% in the last 3 months while Target is down 20%.
And I don't 100% disagree. I'm just pointing out the double standard. If J6 was just a peaceful protest after they vandalized property, terrorized elected officials, and attacked police, then how is vandalizing Teslas terrorism? Either it's all terrorism or none of it is. If you choose what's terrorism and what's not based on who it affects and not what actually happened you're just putting targets on specific people. As you said, if you're going to be a bitch, you gotta be the whole bitch.
While I understand that password reuse is a problem I also understand that remembering 50+ passwords, because literally everything requires you to make an account, is impossible. And some of these password managers seem shady themselves. And if said manager needs a password that means someone only needs the one password which puts us back at square one.
These days I've resorted to physically writing my passwords down because I straight up don't trust anything that connects to the internet anymore for this kind of information. Like some lame puzzle in a video game where you have to look around the room for the password. But it still feels safer than anything that's connected to the internet.
If this is their way of making AI, with brute forcing the technology without innovation, AI will probably cost more for these companies to maintain infrastructure than just hiring people. These AI companies are already not making a lot of money for how much they cost to maintain. And unless they charge companies millions of dollars just to be able to use their services they will never make a profit. And since companies are trying to use AI to replace the millions they spend on employees it seems kinda pointless if they aren't willing to prioritize efficiency.
It's basically the same argument they have with people. They don't wanna treat people like actual humans because it costs too much, yet letting them love happy lives makes them more efficient workers. Whereas now they don't want to spend money to make AI more efficient, yet increasing efficiency would make them less expensive to run. It's the never ending cycle of cutting corners only to eventually make less money than you would have if you did things the right way.
Technology in most cases progresses on a logarithmic scale when innovation isn't prioritized. We've basically reached the plateau of what LLMs can currently do without a breakthrough. They could absorb all the information on the internet and not even come close to what they say it is. These days we're in the "bells and whistles" phase where they add unnecessary bullshit to make it seem new like adding 5 cameras to a phone or adding touchscreens to cars. Things that make something seem fancy by slapping buzzwords and features nobody needs without needing to actually change anything but bump up the price.
But if someone torches a Toyota Camry or spray paints a Ford F150 it's just vandalism. Only when it affects the richest man in the world is it considered terrorism.
And without it most people would not even read anything about it until it's too late. Even with this argument it still accomplishes its goal better than a webpage or download that 80% of people will procrastinate on or forget completely. Case in point, the information has been out there on the internet for decades yet nobody is prepared for an emergency until it's at their front door. And if the internet is out you already missed your chance.
Already dual booting. Haven't used Linux since 2010 so it's been a bit of a learning curve. But now I haven't booted into windows for about 2 months now and it's been great for gaming.
I'm just waiting for these incompetent fuckwits at DOGE to fuck something up so catastrophically that it backfires on them tenfold. I'd take GeekSquad running the government over these guys.
We need to start having boxing matches or fights for their political debates so everyone can see how cowardly and insecure they really are. He may be old, but I bet you Bernie Sanders could take 70% of Republican politicians in a fight. Maybe watch Al Green hit someone in the face with his "pimp cane." And AOC would fuck some shit up.
As someone that lives in the rural US and has no option for internet besides Starlink, I'd much rather have fiber. Starlink isn't bad, but it's garbage compared to fiber.
Plus I don't want to give Elmo my money. I really wish I had other options.
And that's what you get for cheaping out on tech and going with cameras over lidar. Not only that, but Tesla removed all the radar technology that literally every car uses for collision detection about a year ago.
Because we are so far removed from poor conditions that some of us don't even think they exist. And since they've never seen it, misinformation can just slide right in.
As someone that lives above a meth-lab, that's a pretty good analogy. One day I'm selling my old car to them and we're shooting the shit, the next they're banging on my door at 3 AM saying they're gonna fucking kill me for literally no reason.
Bro this was 6 months ago lol. Models have gotten way better since then. I made this comment when Google was still telling people to put glue on pizza. Which, if you did re-input the answer, would take you to a reddit post. Almost all of them would take you to a reddit post back then.
