  • You voted for a guy who said he'd be a dictator. Now he's a dictator doing dictator things. His not doing dictator things would be surprising, not this.

  • In the end, it's always bees isn't it?

  • But they give you so many fries!

  • "But, sir!"

    "Do as I say!"

  • I looked at Joplin before switching to Obsidian from OneNote. It has a mobile app but I don't know if it does local storage or not.

  • The alone part is the intention. The fact that we don't have the industrial capacity to replace all those imports doesn't seem to have been taken into account. It's going to get ugly.

  • Doesn't matter, he doesn't read. His aides might, but they won't tell him for fear of getting fired.

  • He beat out another “Guy you never heard of” for the position. The Dems are doomed.

  • They never have. But certain people are incapable of learning from history so here we are.

  • He seems to think that doing this will force manufacturers to build in the US, versus the Biden approach of incentivizing them to do that. What he doesn't realize this will do is raise chips prices and manufacturers will simply pass that cost onto consumers.

  • I suspect this is part of his strategy to hand Taiwan over to the PRC, if "strategy" can be used to describe anything he does.

  • He has absolute power unless someone steps up and says no. Regardless of its legality (hint: this is illegal), it will happen if Congress or SCOTUS does nothing to stop it.

  • The question is which will happen first, she falls into line or Trumpists force her out of office. The GOP has a low tolerance for dissent.
