Making friends as an adult is hard. Is there something you like to do that occurs outside your home? We used to play darts on Tuesdays - not with a group, just the two of us - and found that the same people were often at the bar each week. Would have been pretty easy to invite someone to play. Anywhere that people gather fairly regularly can be a good meeting place. Also, volunteering can help with negativity and can be a good place to meet people. Feeling better about yourself makes you more attractive/approachable to other people.
Do you have a favorite area? It's a big enough field that you should be able to have a good job and a fun hobby. My son loves playing with audio electronics - prints wiring diagrams and uses an acid to transfer it to circuit board material to make guitar pedals.
Yeah, from the beef council. Also, "The more you know..." Those were kind of like advertisements. I tried to post pics of some Cuban billboards but this app wouldn't do it. I'll try again. They basically blame everything on the US embargo.
Is it about the size of the animal? Is there a large animal that produces enough meat to offset the environmental damage per serving? Chickens seem very gross and labor intensive for one family meal (unless you count eggs) where a cow seems happy to eat grass and produce a lot of meals. I realize most cows are disturbingly fattened and I've started trying to buy farm meat from local butchers. I think i read that Chipotle uses better (happier?) meat than most other restaurants. Also, i just started leaving about Temple Gramdin's work for humane animal farming.
