I agree that homelessness SHOULD be a big issue any candidate running should make priority. But the fact is most MAGAs in this state are voting R all the way down the ticket whether the issues affect them or not. The failing school systems hasn't taught critical thinking in quite some time.

You can't say ban ALL weapons. It's not even specified what weapons were used. Could have been any household items. The focus should be on mental health. The kid obviously had problems and no one to help him.

They passed a law a couple years ago for open carry. Anyone able to purchase a gun can have a loaded handgun with them concealed or not. It's basically the wild west out here.

It's pretty easy to buy a gun in this state. If he does get flagged by the system the black market is flooded with them. There's an epidemic in Nashville (and probably many other places) of guns being stolen from vehicles. Almost no arrests are ever made, and yet people still leave firearms in their cars.

Let me guess, you didn't watch the clip where he explains it's a complex issue that should be viewed from all angles and not just life and death. If you're so worried about death then consider the women who's lives are in danger because they have to endure a non viable pregnancy to term because a bunch of politicians have no concept of medical care.

Also worth noting Speaker Cam Sexton doesn't even live in the district he represents and shouldn't even be eligible to be elected. TN GOP is such a supermajority it makes everything the "Tennesse three" even more impressive because they know they'll always be squashed and out voted. It's all about making noise for the public to take notice and maybe one day stop voting for the shitheads running this state.

Yeah wtf is this dude smoking? Bill Lee isn't on the Trump or DeSantis level(yet). But he's wayyy right leaning. Outside of Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, and Knoxville this state is as red as it gets.
