  • When I first started working at minimum wage, you could buy 3 packs of decent cigarettes for an hour’s worth of labor

For the last few years the places I have lived, one pack of cigarettes is about $17. So over 2 hours worth of work at the minimum wage just for one pack of smokes

Now, this may sound like an old fogey story, but perhaps the point is that I entered the workforce when minimum wage was like $7.35 an hour less than 15 years ago, and I already have old fogey economic stories

Fast food is a similar story. It’s something bad for our health but was more excusable back when it was cheaper relative to wages. The fuck would I work myself to death just to be able to smoke a dart or eat a garbage hamburger?

  • If anything Im honestly kind of pissed that Temu and these garbage companies found a way to keep funneling this shit here. Id be perfectly happy if we somehow banned this shit entirely from being sold.

Just ban all the 10¢ junk companies across the board. The shit isnt worth the exhaust gasses of the ships it sails in on. Force US consumers to buy half-decent products from local stores or non-junk companies

  • 6 months in musk time is like 25 years from now

  • I just wanted some McDonalds, but they said I’d tried to flee!

This mysterious pipe inside my bags’ for whackin’ turtles, see?

Manhattan on a Monday morning is a place I’d never be

If they try me by a jury then you know surely I’ll go free

  • Once the star of the show gets murdered by the state some of the charm gets lost

  • According to his math, around seven-eighths of all Albertans who just voted for the federal Conservatives would have to back sovereignty for a "Yes" side to win.

7 out of 8 people who vote conservative would have to vote for something stupid?

Welcome to America, Alberta, I guess

  • Its DC, so everything will be backed up for miles long before anyone even shows up

  • They would do a way better job than me, they should probably go first

  • At this point, Im surprised we survived the first 100 days.

Any further days are just a bonus at this point

  • Youre fundamentally confusing what “political rhetoric” is versus what a legal action is. Calling the war on drugs a war doesnt make it a war with any actual legal modifications for anything.

Calling the war on drugs a war is a political justification for the actions taken against drug use. Therefore, calling the war on drugs a war is not a legal thing. Its just political rhetoric.

I dont see how else to explain that for you

  • Youre really misunderstanding what declaring an actual war is or is not. Technically the US has not been in an actual declared war since WWII.

The Vietnam War, the Korean War, the Iraq wars, none of those were declared as actual war by congress. The war on drugs is just political rhetoric and has no actual legal bearing.

You cant declare formal war on drug use because drug use isnt a recognized sovereign country

  • 75% of Americans would be doing cocaine if not for the Trump administration.

Theyre taking care of it one line at a time, for the good of the country

  • If you told me he sees Biden floating over him all the time like a ghost of Christmas past, Id believe it
