  • As a pole I absolutely agree, I don't want to die for the ruling class, however I'm also willing to be taught how to defend myself and others against fascist agression for free by the state.

It might be useful against russian fascists, but not only them if you know what I mean 🙃

Edit: about that first point - every man in poland has to pass a military classification anyways when they're about 16 and get assigned an ability score for eventual conscription in war, so the list is already there. It might even prevent conscription because there will likely be more volunteers.

  • Honestly it's crazy how much power flagship GPUs consume. Aside from it never being even envisioned in the ATX spec it's just a giant waste of electricity.

GPUs should be made more power efficient not more power hungry.

  • Then Arch is kind of a terrible choice for you. I use it (btw), but I've been using linux since 2008.

The learning curve and constant need to troubleshoot things isn't great for beginners.

EDIT: can someone explain why I'm getting downvoted? Isn't this common knowledge that Mint and other begginner-friendly distros that don't have complicated package managers and require less configuration and maintenance are better for someone who's just starting with Linux?

I myself began with Ubuntu back in '08 but nowadays use both Arch and Mint.
