  • At this rate there won’t be any mods left to respond to the admins’ feedback request!

  • The niche subs are the ones I’ve missed the most, honestly. There were some really great little communities on there!

  • I started noticing a drop in the quality of some subs after the blackout, before the third party apps shut down, too. I suspect a lot more subs are that way now.

  • I felt like a Reddit old-timer and I have (had?) been on there 12 years, ha ha! Seventeen years is wild! I don’t have much enthusiasm for staying/going back, either.

  • Sounds interesting, adding it to the list!

  • But hey, they’re “leaders and stewards” of their communities now, and not the landed gentry!

  • I would love to know how many mods are no longer moderating, have reduced their moderating, or have left Reddit altogether after this whole situation.

I haven’t been on Reddit since the third party apps shut down, so I have no idea what’s going on over there now.

  • I’ll definitely be picking up Haunted Chocolatier on release day, whenever that ends up being!

  • Love Stardew Valley and I’m excited to see the new stuff, even though I haven’t even finished everything new from 1.5! I’m always in awe of how much time and effort he has put into this game and how much he continues to put into it!

  • I can relate to that. I’m pretty firmly in the “read what you want” camp, and I mostly try to adhere to that for myself. I try to strike a balance between escapist, light books, and books that are more challenging (and I enjoy both!). But it’s hard to shake that feeling of “I ought to be reading XYZ book instead of this,” no matter what I’m reading.

  • I read Bel Canto earlier this year and it was fantastic. I was hooked immediately and engrossed the whole way through! I’ll definitely have to pick up her new one!

  • I do the bare minimum for my skin because a long routine is boring: gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen every day. Once or twice a week use an exfoliator cream. I definitely notice a difference on days when I skip my routine, though I generally have pretty good skin, like you.

Start with the basics and then add more if needed!

  • Basically anything is good! Regular old salt, pepper, garlic is always tasty; different herbs; those pre-made blends work well, too! I just kind of grab whatever sounds good out of the spice cabinet.

  • Probably just chopping them up, tossing them with seasoning and a little oil, and roasting them until they’re crispy. Delicious and easy to make!

  • Yes! And playing as the spider, too!

  • I spent so many hours playing Sim Ant as a kid!

  • Some of those little stickers have nice designs!

  • Anything by Stephen King, for me. I also like quick-paced techy/sci-fi novels for when I’m in the mood for something easier. I’m a re-reader, so I will sometimes pick up something I’ve already read and enjoyed before.
