  • It's kind of amazing that with a radiator you turn 1kW of electricity into 1kW of heat energy but with a heat pump depending on the efficiency you might get 2kW of heat or even more with the same amount of electricity.

  • I guess in a way I'm fine with that. I tolerate it. As long as it stays out of my feed atleast. I don't see it being being something that Twitter is somehow especially riddled with compared to other social media companies or even Lemmy for that matter.

    If I were to boycott every company that does something I don't agree with I'd pretty much be living alone in the forest eating berries and mushrooms.

  • A bad headache really is among the worst things one can experience. I luckily almost never do. It's the only thing I've ever experienced that I could imagine leading to suicide were it to be chronical with no cure. Not even a bad depression has made me imagine that.

  • What is exceptional service? How is it different from bad service? As an introverted north european I never figured this out myself. For me good service means I don't need to wait too long for my food/get the check but other than that I want to be left alone. I imagine I would find "good service" quite uncomfortable.
