  • Prawn cocktail, apricot chicken & green peas please.

  • Came across the phrase 'inclusion navigator' at work - what/who is that? What do they do? Does anyone know? Context was occupation.

  • This reminds me of the ancient joke about Morris Minors - of the 101 things to do in the back seat. Number 47 was 'Grab the steering wheel'.

  • Council elections? I had a lot of trouble getting the envelope open far enough to put the ballot paper in. Ended up sticking a skewer in and waggling it about before putting the ballot paper in. I diagnose crappy quality control of envelope specifications.

  • This was on the front page of wikipedia just now.

  • Stress does it for me every time. I think the adrenaline surge triggers it for me.

  • Think of all the potat waiting for you when you get home.

  • Might be stress-related psoriasis. I have that in my hairline and the outside of my elbows, and its a pain to deal with. Cortisone cream works quite well. If the things are scaly patches that flake off leaving a red sore mark. Might be worth raising this with the dr.

  • Who knows? But look at the career of Hermann Goering .... also a WWI flying ace, and the Red Baron's bossman.

  • I am insanely proud of him. Given that he started as an apprentice cos school and him could not agree. And proud of his brother too for different reasons. Give me a few drinks and I'll take all the credit for their success.

  • Just had some good news - my younger boy Nick (who works at NASA at Cape Canaveral) is safe. He and his wife and my granddaughter did the smart thing and evacuated. Currently in LA. I have been so worried. But all are safe and well.

  • Can we get some of that in pill form? For convenient storage in handbags at our hot desks.

  • If you don't like mustard or parsley sauce, try horseradish (wasabi substitute) and/or hot sauce. Both work.

  • Do the the trusty toothbrush tango - that's what I do nowadays. Damn getting ooooold - its the little things that really get to me.

  • The open mic sesh at Lyrebird runs from 7.30 to 10 pm but will probably go later (based on personal experience). If our Simon is third in the queue, then prob won't start till 8 ish or later.

  • It'll depend on how I feel on the night, but hopefully see you there.
