I suggest just not saying anything about it ever, and just tell the US govt you're not a citizen at all if they ask.

You're going to accuse ME of bad faith bullshit and then try to tell me a fake version of history? Russia was literally at war with Germany before America was. And no, they're not committing genocide, or any of that shit. I highly suggest you get your news from places less biased than USA, historically they have produced a fuck ton of fake news, especially about Russia.

Comparing it to a flat earth theory is ridiculous, it is entirely possible that the popular opinion, especially among Americans, is wrong. American media has historically been quite unreliable about foreign affairs, often intentionally.

That's fair, I was more annoyed with the arguments being used, because I argue in good faith for things I think are better, and get those same arguments thrown at me.

Those people were wrong, but I'm right. Most people who say what I did are right. You're leaving out the many, many times in history a country did not try to take over the world after winning a war.

I didn't read their comments at all, I just noticed someone being the victim of obviously circular reasoning. This site has gotten very hive-mind ish lately, and comments like the one I replied to are a big part of why. People say the same thing about me, how I'm an obvious troll because I push back on the majority narrative. The impulse to just hand wave away anyone who disagrees with you gets heavily amplified here, for whatever reason.

LMAO, that is exactly what I think, though I don't think ive ever put it that well. It's quite obvious that America is trying to expand it's reach to include Ukraine, and that is fundamentally a big threat to Russia, seeing as America has made NATO into the "Fuck Russia" club. It's kind of insane that westerners will rightly say the Russian version of imperialism is wrong, but have no issue with the American version, despite all of South and Central America being living proof of how destructive it is. It's legitimately MORE harmful to overthrow a government and install a bloodthirsty dictator who ruins your economy for decades to come than it is to bomb cities and engage in traditional warfare.

And in case anyone thinks that was all 20th century stuff, America certainly is not done doing this, they attempted to enact the typical playbook in 2018 in Venezuela (again), by declaring their puppet, Juan Guiado, the winner of an election that was won fairly by Maduro, on top of the mercenaries sent to assassinate Maduro.

That's not what he's fighting a war over. Has he taken any land that wasn't part of the initial declaration? I see zero reason to think that what he has said and which he is currently doing are lies.
