  • Having lived in China, I can say China is largely self sufficient and Chinese tariffs on American goods isn't going to hurt the American economy as much as other aspects of a trade war such as quitting their policy to buy American debt. That said, China does import a shit ton of grain and oil (both cooking and crude), some tech stuff, some cars, and a good amount of aircraft parts, and 40 something films a year see box office releases in China. So certain industries will be hit but specifically related to tariffs and only tariffs, China losing access to the American market is worse for their economy. But by no means is it good for the American economy and tariffs aren't the only weapon in a trade war.

Sorry to get pedantic, but it's the internet here.

  • To name a few things, they improved the processing power, storage, screen, attachment method of the joycons, dock, placement of charging cable (located both top and bottom), in-game chat.

I'm not going to buy one cause the pricepoint and the fact that "physical copies" of games are going to be empty cases with keys, which might be able to be lent or resold until Nintendo decides against it or kills the system for verifying them, but they did make a number of improvements that would have opened up my wallet once again if they hadn't let greed win the day.

  • It's easy to take the piss out of magaheads cause obviously they were being swindled by a person and ideology that in no way threatens power and it's fun too. Wait... what was the point I was trying to make? Oh yeah, some of them will be disillusioned with the growing amount of contradictions and the left will can organize and pick some folks up, which would be neat. I don't know though, I'm not an organizer, just a shittalker online. so... yeah.

  • To be fair, Jimmy Carter was in reality the first neoliberal president but besides cutting taxes for the wealthy was largely innefectual and less ruthless in their neoliberal persuits compared to Reagan.

If you want to learn more about it, you should check out Thomas Franks "Listen Liberal, whatever happened to the party of the people."

But yeah, I think it's largely complicated but when going for republican or republican lite, republicans tend to go for the real thing and the working ejected and dejected working class don't show up... Or in Kamalas case they show up for the other guy.

  • The election was always a toss up as Trump had more pathways to victory and was within the margin of error in three rust belt states of which he only needed to take one. It was a tossup favoring Kamala.

Now it's just a tossup favoring Trump.
