Last major version before it went to subscription I believe. And I have a working crack, no need to look for a new one, nothing in the new versions I use anymore.
It's a good start but it blocks about 90% without browser plugins. I use both DNS blocking and ublock and I can block nearly everything unless the ads are being served from the same domain.
I used real debrid before. Was ok. Rather just keep my VPN and have it for all my devices. Stremio, vpn and torrentio alone are enough to get 99% of what I watch. Worked ok on Chromecast, but Nvidia shield is 10x faster and better.
Nextdns was $22/year and worked very well for me for 3 years. I maintain my own now, but for many people it's perfectly fine to pay for a working service, not everyone wants or needs to fine tune their DNS like some. Just because it's free doesn't mean it's better and vice versa.
Doesn't mean you don't support free speech. When I join a chatroom and someone is just typing shit over and over trying to get a rise and I ignore/block them, I don't agree that I'm against free speech, I'm against harassment.
More like within 10 miles. Used to be an app where you could only see locals, like a large chat room where you had to be within x miles to see it. Big on college campuses and things like that.
Ads are one thing, malware through ads is another. Don't be pedantic, you know what he's trying to say.
