  • Yeah and it's also a politician's goal. Do you actually think everyone who wants to reach a lot of people is a scammer? Like there's no legitimate reason to want to reach as many people as possible? Did your parents drop on your head when you were young?

  • Yeah why is this politician, who clearly finds it important to communicate her messages as widely and effectively as possible, using a massive social media platform which many American voters and basically all, if not all media organizations regularly use to get their information, instead of using some nobody social media platform that almost nobody cares about?!? The only conclusion is she must be a grifter!!!

Why yes I am incapable of thinking about a single subject for more than 5 seconds, why do you ask?

  • What a catastrophically dumb take. People WERE explaining that freedom of speech only prevents the government from taking action against you based on your speech, and even then that it's limited. If you missed that then you're too ignorant to be commenting on the subject.

Calling the phrase fascist is just bafflingly stupid as well. Saying that people are not free from consequences of their speech in NO WAY supports the use of physical force to quell people's right to participate in politics for the simple act of asking a question. Any interpretation of "freedom of speech isn't freedom from consequences" that concludes that it means that all speech should be subject to any consequences is embarrassingly brain-dead.

You're free to be this clueless on a public forum, but you're not free from being called out for your dumb take. That is a consequence. It doesn't mean that a big muscly dude can justifiably take your phone and smash it into pieces so you can't comment anymore.

  • I agree completely. I would love if the popularity of mid-range handheld devices like the SD convinced more companies to steer away from the obsession with ever increasing graphical fidelity.

It's also nice having a handheld PC that is so reasonably priced in comparison to a lot of the other offerings in the handheld PC market.

  • The whole handheld gaming market is pretty small. There's the Switch which outsold the last couple gens of Xboxes and PlayStations. Good luck beating that. Besides that you have smartphones which just about everyone owns and only a handful of brands being especially popular. Then you have dedicated Android having handhelds and handheld emulation machines which are extremely niche.

So either you're looking at extremely popular and widely owned handheld devices with extensive histories and customer loyalty or extremely niche devices. Not really a great comparison.

  • The idea that Gaza would have been a-ok if Harris won is insane.

A Democrat victory would have meant next to nothing to the Palestinian people. Dems don't care about them either.

It's also a lie that pro-Palestine voters withheld their votes in any significant number as well. That's just the MSM trying to pass the buck onto the left while ignoring the fact that the Dems have nobody to blame for their loss but themselves.

You're buying into propaganda from the Dems's "good guy" billionaires.

  • Pro Palestinian activists overwhelmingly voted for the Dems. Mainstream media is just once again blaming people on the left for their party leadership's own failures. That's what the Dems do every time they lose. They blame the progressives, claim that the party has somehow gone "too far left," and claim that they just need to move the party further to the right.

Don't blame the activists. Blame the Dem leadership who care far more for their millionaire and billionaire donors than they do their own constituents. Who care more about their donors than they do the end of democracy.

  • Ohhhhh so you literally mean that people who use shopping carts are in relationships where their SO is having sex with someone else behind their backs?

Right. Of course that's what you meant. Well obviously that would be a MUCH more normal thing to believe.

  • Uhhhhhh no it's not. There is nothing about believing that Israel is committing a genocide against the Palestinian people (they are) that prevents someone from simultaneously believing that the holocaust happened and was just as bad as is commonly understood (it did and it was).

It's like saying that accusing me of being a thief is denying that time I was robbed.
