Carney is what a conservative BELEIVES they are. Economically sound. Which they have never been for a long long time, and he's perfect for this job in this moment. Pierre Polievere is a fucking moron and whoever actually believes his bullshit is cooked to a crisp and has zero critical thinking skill or a broad understanding of economics

In the middle of it now and it's only made me want this guy as our PM even more. But honestly most people today couldn't read a book to save their life

It's not so much capitalism as it is the premiers being literal throns in our countries side when it comes to progress (Alberta and Sask). They will threaten to "leave Canada" because of some bullshit reasoning that changing our economy from a petrol one to a green one will be bad for the economy. Meanwhile it will only generate new growth and stability for everyone who invests in it. Carney KNOWS this

That's how I feel about the NDP aswell. They are basically all talk without any of the economic realities. Carney KNOWS how markets work and how we can harness them to create wealth and prosperity while building a net Zero future, by making it PROFITABLE to do so.

Even the consumer carbon tax being removed is a dumb thing. It was only done to shut the conservatives up because all they were doing was kicking up misinformation about it. The carbon tax literally impacted the richest of us more than the working class, the working class even gained more money from it as we move away from ICE's and more towards EVs and hybrids, heat pumps, etc.

The only appeal the conservatives have are for the richest of the country really. No GST on new homes if you're a first time home buyer OR NOT. How does that help? That just means rich people can get a 5% break on buying new houses to sell off or rent out. Their tax cut? While the most out of all the other parties, will also cost the most and where are they going to get that money from? Take a guess. And then the declaration of using the not withstanding clause, opening that can of worms just so they can overrule the charter and constitition to be "tough on crime" it's rediculous.

The NDP and bloc and greens have far better platforms then the cons but people who vote conservative are too fucking stupid to vote for anyone else, or just simply read for that matter

But the conservatives in Alberta and media owned by the USA said that we should only be building oil pipelines!

The best thing that came from the gun control bill the liberals passed was giving municipalities the right to ban ownership of handguns and gave more powers to the police to help stop gun trafficking throughout our nation from the USA.

It's just so insane that THIS is something they're putting resources into.... Like really? This and the tunnel? Meanwhile the twinning of the trans Canada through north Western Ontario will cost half as much as that stupid ass tunnel and allow for much safer and efficient transport of goods thought the country and province of were pushing free trade internally.

Yeah we all get it but right now? They should have been doing this all throughout the last four years.... Right now we DONT NEED VOTE SPLITTING. Splitting the liberal and NDP vote is removed and only leads to a conservating gov. Look at Ontario..... Stop spreading this bullshit that voting for the NDP is doing good noatter what. The CPC and NDP are the leaders in the polls in your riding? Sure, vote NDP, but if the liberals are leading the NDP and racing with the conservatives? Don't be dumb, vote Liberal so your vote doesn't actively help the cons get in... It's NOT that hard

Definately. Rail can transport so much more and for cheaper than trucks can, way more efficient at it. And Manitoba is far flatter than northern Ontario, this is our time to really put our money where our mouth is and build our infrastructure for the next century +

Honestly this is such a waste of resources from the provincial government. Y'all really thought Doug Ford would be the only one capable of standing up to trump during the election? Those who voted anyways, what a joke that the majority of Ontarians didn't even vote, many didn't even know there was an election happening or what they were voting for, blows my mind how people can be so clueless in the age we're currently living in🙄

Pierre acts like an economic genius but he's just a fucking loser with a bachelor's degree in international relations that took him 11 years to complete and held no real job prior.

Plus he:

• Voted against a trade deal with Ukraine during their war with Russia
• Said he wants to use the notwithstanding clause overriding YOUR RIGHTS
• Pushed anti vaccine bullshit
• Would allow his mps to vote for anti abortion legislation
• Supported the illegal convoy blockades
• Called childcare and dental care a waste of money
• Made a speech to a group that claims residential schools effects on the first Nations people's were "a myth"
• Made it harder for Canadians to vote
• Was against CERB which allowed millions to pay their bills during COVID

He's also a fucking loser who has fed millions of Canadians bullshit and misinformation about what has been causing inflation and has hurt our recovery from COVID because of it.

Conservatives will see direct evidence of this not working (the USA) and evidence of compassion and humanity working and helping criminals to become rehabilitated to become productive members of society (Norway) and instead choose to go the USA route. Even though it's more expensive and completely inhumane AND actually against the teachings of Jesus lol

Because thousands come out to his rallies in highly populated areas? Like what? Do they really think that this country isn't comprised of tens of millions of voting age citizens? Plus, what kind of a fucking loser spends their spare time (unemployed) going to a fucking political rally. That's lame af.
