My job title is data engineer, but the organization I work at is small enough that it basically ranges from business intelligence to cloud engineering to data architecture to data science to whatever other thing is even slightly related to data :)
It used to be a lot more popular, though by now we're at our 69th challenge. It could just be that it's not that interesting anymore 😔
Maybe it's time for a different format? Something a bit shorter and more spontaneous?
Last year we had a few of these "Show me your: ..." kind of posts where people were encouraged to share their version of a fantasy animal, their user name, or something else that could be done with low effort. There were no set rules, anyone could start a post like that at any time and there weren't any winners or losers.
I don't know, it's not like you can drag people here against their will to vote (tempting though that might sound :)
Maybe the time of posting could make a difference? Post on a Saturday instead of a Friday to increase the likelihood of it popping up on the "All" and "Local" feeds?
Looks like I win! Yay, me :)
Seriously, it feels all kinds of wrong to declare myself the winner this way. Maybe I should make a dedicated account just for creating the voting posts and announcing the winner?
Edit:
And of course a thank you to @GraniteM@lemmy.world for coming up with the challenge. Hope you'll join us again this week :)
Using copilot with a long discussion to get it fine-tuned, also noted that using hose and woman in the same prompt is considered as innapropirate by Copilot
Prompt:atom punk style, full-page scan of a 1950s magazine advertisement, of a sleek robot with a visor and a big fist, lifting up a scared fascist by his collar, the fascist is wearing a brown shirt and pants, the fascist has a bloodied face and slicked back hair, at the front door of a residential house , the title "Fash-Basher 5000" is written in bold text at the top of the page --ar 58:77 --stylize 75
Does your fist hurt from punching too many Nazis?
With today's busy life style, we don't always have the time or energy to participate in everyone's favorite past time: beating the living shit out of people with terrible political views. That is where our Fash-Basher 5000 comes in!
Now your very own household robot can identify and punch fascists for you! Equipped with the latest innovations in AI, the Fash-Basher 5000 can identify over fifteen different kinds of fascists! Among others: nazis, racists, homophobes, transphobes, corporate shills and many more!
Buy one now, and we will throw in a free Fash Flattener tire iron for those nights when you want to take justice back into your own hands!
1950s retro-futuristic advertisement for glow-in-the-dark teeth, a man grinning widely in a dimly lit room, his teeth emitting an eerie neon green glow. He holds a vintage toothbrush in one hand and a tube of glow-in-the-dark toothpaste labeled "Atomic Smile" in the other hand. Vintage comic book style, exaggerated expressions, atompunk aesthetic, bold colors, nostalgic print texture.
Here is the final score:
Congrats to @WhatsHerBucket@lemmy.world! You win this week's challenge!
