I read about it yesterday morning and my school district sent out an email The same evening. I believe had it not been published they would have stayed quiet.
I’m pretty sure IBM sold the branding to them since they were already doing the manufacturing.
They still do the warranty/maintenance work, though based on the last two call outs I’ve had with their “techs” I might opt for depot repairs or taking it to the local Micro Center for warranty work.
I’m hopeful for an official SteamOS update (cross grade? 🤔) for the Legion GO.
I appreciate being able run Steam on it, but I feel like I could probably get a little bit better experience with it running on bare metal. Sometimes the joycons are wonky…
I have them and they work well enough for my uses (gaming and video watching) I’m dual booting and honestly found the windows software trying to give you the 7.1/virtual surround so irritating I just uninstalled it.
Mostly, but as others have said variations exist. Another caveat is that newer/shorter tanks may need to removed to access the nut to change the filler valve.
There are three, I think VIA still has a foot in the game. There were quite a few companies that clean roomed, licensed or extended the x86 platform back in the day. My first machine had a NEC V20 in it and I had 386 machines with AMD, Centaur, and VIA chips…
You sometimes have to be careful with corn… I picked up some cheap bird food with corn in it, the squirrels got into it and buried kernels all around the yard. My wife just about went crazy yanking corn sprouts out of our and the neighbors yard! 😄

The handout I was given recommended 500 mg of acetaminophen then three hours later 600 mg of ibuprofen, repeating that throughout day. The last dose of the day (before bed?) taking both 500 mg of acetaminophen and 600 mg of ibuprofen and six hours later start alternating again.
You can give this a try but, I am just describing what I was given.
I hope this helps, good luck, and feel better soon.
On Amazon, there are a couple of industrial machines with the KINGDEL brand/label that I’ve used in my soils lab that have held up pretty well.
They’re fairly inexpensive for what they are, would probably work with Linux, much more than windows 11 since they’re not exactly running the latest generation CPU’s
Honestly, I think I would be looking for a keyboard used in the medical industry or an industrial keyboard that is membrane based. If you’re getting a nicer one be prepared for a little bit of sticker shock. Ditto for the mouse.
The NJ ripped (deep fried) ones are missing. Also the Carolina is misplaced. The slaw dog originated in WV.
