  • You realise hydrogen comes from water not fossil fuels right? You know the H in H2O? You just use electrolysis to split the H2O into hydrogen and oxygen.

  • A) no it’s not supersonic because that depends on airspeed not ground speed

    B) this is normal for west bound flights

  • I remember when I was little I used to hate my grandma’s old tv because there was always a high pitched noise that came from it when it was turned on or off, my grandma was never able to hear it though and I couldn’t understand why till I learned about how we struggle to hear higher frequencies as we age.

  • Starfish prime, I think they’re built to survive EMP blasts like the ones that would come from solar flares so a nuke probably do a lot less damage now.

  • Let me get this straight, you think that the mods aren’t active enough but they’re also so active that they’ll remove this post? Doesn’t that defeat the whole point you’re making?

  • As someone from the British countryside this is wild to me, my village has a graveyard thats been around since at least the 1500s and there are still graves there from that period, they just had to buy a new field and bless the land a few years ago because they ran out of space for new graves.

  • It’s not even just guns, in the UK people who carry knives around are more likely to be stabbed than people who don’t carry them. That’s why there are so many laws about when you’re allowed to have one with you even if you need it for work.

  • I’m not sure if this is an American thing or not but here in the UK a guest room is just a spare bedroom for when people are staying overnight, I’ve never heard of a whole extra space existing just so that you can invite guests round.

  • Some don’t even have that, I was trying to find the buttons on a tv that I was using the other week and there weren’t even power controls without the remote, it was so annoying

  • Honestly hurt is my go to song when I’m feeling like shit.

  • Technically so is sealand though, the UK and Germany both had to recognise it at different points

  • Because you can mix in other stuff like frozen vegetables and some meat if you can afford it

  • If you just eat egg fried rice using ingredients from Aldi you’re able to bring your weekly food costs down to about £2-£3 a week, I lived that way for about 3 months during the cost of living crisis. Sure it was only 1000 calories a day but I was able to get all the nutrients I needed from the ingredients.

  • First person city planner, probably in vr where you can plan something out and then see your city grow as you walk around it

  • I got it as a present rather than buying it myself but my tire pressure / tread depth measuring tool gets near constant use so it’s super easy to check on my car’s tires when I need to

  • Not surprising when he’s doing so well.

  • ngl I thought this was just a meme is this legit what they're going with?
