Searx has lemmy search integrated into the "social media" engine settings. Just go to preferences and remove any platforms you dont use (reddit included by default). You can also use !commands to specify only posts, comments, communities, etc too. Just heard about it the other day and its easily my favourite way to search lemmy now
Thanks for the suggestion. Just tested by adding G92 E0 right after the PRINT_START and PURGE_LINE macros and it still has the same error at the same spot; right as it goes around the circle part of the elbow on the second layer.
I'm not really looking to change slicers at this point. I've used Cura in the past and have landed on PrusaSlicer for a variety of reasons and would like to get it working properly again ideally.
I found onlyoffice to have the best compatibility with documents imported from/exported to MS Office. For most people, their coworkers/teachers/professors or whatever will be using MS office, and if the formatting is borked everytime you move the file between libreoffice and ms office users, it gets old fast. That was my experience with libre office and why I ended up on onlyoffice. Of all the suites i've tried it has the best compatibility between itself and ms office for formatting.
Hmm good thinking, that would make sense that could impact it... maybe I'll try reducing that although I am on the low end for that setting compared to the recommended values. Pressure advance is 0.0425 and was determined using the method described in the klipper docs
You may have already done this since you mentioned input shaping but said you only changed print speed.... dont forget to crank up the acceleration values too (you can find your max good quality when doing input shaping tuning)
If you use prusa/superslicer I could share my profile tomorrow when I get back home. Started out with the ellis klipper superslicer one and then ported it over to pruasa and have been making a few tweaks here and there.
Fun fact: Tim's switched to a cheaper bean supplier years ago (when the coffee got obviously shittier, I think it must have been over a decade now) and McDonalds (Canada) actually snapped up the supplier. So McDonalds coffee in Canada is actually the original Tims coffee.
Edit: sauce, this random r*ddit comment from 7 years ago.
I used to use searx for a couple years but it got too unreliable where it would fail to load results all the time randomly. Tried DDG and consistently ended up having to manually switch to google after the results on DDG just weren't good enough (think troubleshooting linux issues and stuff, DDG would never find the obscure answer in a forum but google would).
Anyways, ofc the goal wasn't to end up back at google so now I've been using startpage for the last few months and it seems to work great with no issues.
Stay away from creality IMO, especially your first printer. Shit quality control and there are better options out there now in the budget arena like sovol and elegoo. You'll spend more time troubleshooting than printing with creality in my experience.
I chose to buy the sv06 still a few weeks ago vs the 7 because I prefer the use of the linear rods vs v-rollers. Its much easier to throw klipper and mainsail on a pi for the sv06 vs upgrade the physical build of the 7 down the road imo
I recently switched to windscribe from NordVPN since my initial 3 year plan was coming to an end with nord. I really liked that you can customize a plan. I only need a few specific servers to choose from so I picked those and just pay $4 monthly instead of having to buy 3 years at a time to get a good price. Makes it easier to switch if I choose to but the speeds have been incredible compared to Nord. I do wish they would update their linux client to have feature-parity with the rest of the clients (linux doesn't seem to have split-tunneling as an option).
Any recommended mods or upgrades for your Sovol? I just got my sv06 and its printing decent out of the box but I lucked into a used Pi 4B that I'm gunna setup with klipper and mainsail I think. Also would like to figure out an enclosure soon
I agree their bottle/applicator is the GOAT. Can't go back to other brands after trying a bottle of loctite.
