  • The hard part of implementing a good Ben 10 game is that you would have to create at least 11 different gameplay styles to encapsulate the feeling of being Ben. You somehow need to find a way to integrate all of that into a cohesive game that doesn't make you think "oh no not the Grey Matter section again" when you're forced to solve some convoluted puzzle.

  • This is my experience using it for electrical engineering and programming. It will give me 80% of the answer, and the remainder 20% is hidden errors. Turns out the best way to learn math from GPT is to ask it a question you know the answer (but not the process) to. Then, reverse engineer the process and determine what mistakes were made and why they impact the result.

Alternatively, just refer to existing materials in the textbook and online. Then you learn it right the first time.

  • I've spent too much time staring at the clock, full of anxiety, watching seconds pass. I've internalized the rhythm, just like with a song.

It's a cool trick, sometimes. People get a kick out of me calling out the microwave timer from across the room.

  • I did some testing. The form accepts anything in the format @. so long as each * segment only contains appropriate characters. The domain itself doesn't need to be real, but the suffix needs to be real.

    "a@b.cd" works.

  • GUI is a generic swiss army knife. It's easy to introduce to someone, and it has a whole array of tools ready for use. However, each of those tools is only half-decent at its job at best, and all of the tools are unwieldy. The manual is included, but it mostly tells you how to do things that are pretty obvious.

CLI is a toolbox full of quality tools and gadgets. Most people who open the box for the first time don't even know which tools they're looking for. In addition, each tool has a set of instructions that must be followed to a T. Those who know how to use the tools can get things done super quickly, but those who don't know will inevitably cause some problems. Oh, but the high-detail manuals for all the tools are in the side compartment of the toolbox too.

  • The real solution is to find a parker compatible chassis that has the right shape, feel, and weight for your preferences. Then simply buy parker refills of your choice. Energel .5 is pretty great :)

  • Don't worry too much about early game speech checks. The game knows your skill levels are low, so the story plays into Henry needing to improve. Also, don't be afraid to flee a fight you aren't prepared for. You won't majorly ruin future content unless you start murder hobo-ing. Enjoy the game! It's quite a treat in my opinion :)

  • I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. Subtle but unusual is a good way to describe it.

However, I would like to point out that if it is their branding, then the character appearing is an advertisement for the service. It's just not very conventional or effective advertising, but they're not making money from a vast majority of implementations, so it's not very egregious anyway.
