I agree. It feels like it’s setting up a lot of future works, especially with the way magic worked for the main antagonist.

Roshar is very cool, but I think I prefer Scadrial. Maybe that’s because I feel like I understand the history of that world a bit more. Plus Allomancy is really cool, but not as cool as Surgebinding.

Nah. The whole point of the bottle method is so the player doesn’t know if it failed or succeeded.

The ability Favored by the Gods can ONLY activate if you fail the save/attack roll. Here’s the RAW.

Starting at 1st level, divine power guards your destiny. If you fail a saving throw or miss with an attack roll, you can roll 2d4 and add it to the total, possibly changing the outcome.

So I get that yes I wouldn’t know the number I would fail by (rolling a 2 vs DC 20 or rolling a 15 vs DC20) but this ability would never be useful for Wis saves. Which feels bad.

I do like that shield method, and have used it for shield and counterspell in past games.

This is cool in theory, but kind of annoying if you are trying to modify the roll with something like Favored by the Gods from Divine Soul Sorcerer that specifically can activate if you fail the roll.

You add an additional 2d4 to your attack/save that fails.

I’m not sure if ANY other dice modifications work after knowing failure, but I know this one does. I know when I play divine souls I always like to save it for those random Int/Wis saves that’ll get ya.

I’ve done Uber eats in the past, and you don’t see the notes until after you pick up. Things may have changed since 2020/2021, but all I recall seeing is

1. distance to restaurant and distance to drop off
2. total profit (including current tip)

So I wouldn’t see the cash tip note until after I accepted the delivery.

Assuming 5e, I think level 20 clerics can just automatically get Divine Intervention once a week. I might be misremembering hahaha

Just the fact that the ship combat is awful AND you don’t get to fly your ship TO other planets makes this a pass for me.

Very very slowly playing through Sea of Stars still. I’ve just gotten to the second island and the combat has hit a decent difficulty spike, which is fun.

Also been trying (and mostly failing) to play Mass Effect Legendary. Been about 7 years since I beat them last, and I love the trilogy and really want to revisit it. The music in Mass effect 1 is just so good.

Honestly I let my Gamepass lapse and was considering re-upping it to play Starfield. And now I am for sure not going to re-up it for Starfield. Maybe I’ll visit it in a few years, but it sounds like not a great time from Nakey Jakey’s review on it.

It’s special as in you have to use clumping litter. Dr. Elsey’s works the best in my experience.
