I used to be on Lemmy.world and it frequently went down. Have been using lemdro.id for some time and never faced any down time till now.

Honestly, the MD3 You had been to my liking. I agree lots of features are getting Pixel Exclusive nowadays, but let's not blame Google for this. The general space of Android in last 2 releases has been refinement over time but obviously with contestable decisions like AppData folder access and others. On the other hand, Android OEMs are not innovating enough in Android Space like they used to do at one point. They are just focusing on UI changes and not features.

There is also Round Sync which is a fork of RCX, as RCX has been unmaintained for quite some time.

I have never been able to find any complete alternative to TickTick. It has some of the best features for Tasks management app, like Promo, Habits, Eisenhower matrix and more

This is honestly something Android should have years ago. But it's never too late to get it. Should save ton of time for everyone involved and keep better user privacy

I really cant wrap my head that religion still exist in this age. Like we have mass destruction weapons, rockets that go beyond earth, have proof of how vast the universe is and then what we fight over is how some God has dictated our life to be.

Chromium already does use tons of Google libs already underneath. The fees is a fair point though. But it's one time fees right? I think the community can raise that much money. Heck even I would be willing to donate a part of they are willing to publish on Play Store.

Still crazy I would say for Google. Their market size is lot larger, and they release new phone line-ups every year.
