Yeah but that's a large percentage of Iceland if you consider the long term possibility of eruption in human terms. This town has already experienced massive earthquakes that have destroyed homes and infrastructure. It would take a huge amount of effort and money to fix an area that's unstable.
It seems like from what I've seen they have evacuated the town and should be relatively safe if it does erupt. That being said it's a tragedy if it does erupt and they lose the town. They have already had pretty major infrastructure damage and would take a ton to restore the town if this passes. Lots of people have already lost their homes and I hope the best for them all.
Get a screw extractor bit and remove the broken piece. If the hole is too large use super glue and toothpicks or matchsticks to fill the hole in. Let it set for 24 hrs then use the proper sized drill bit to recreate the hole.
PatricianTV is one of the best long form video game essay writers out there. Really understands the topic they are talking about. Would recommend watching all his content if you like the format.
Was working on a game where we drew a fake audio graph to a black texture. The code originally cleared this texture every frame by drawing each pixel black before drawing the audio wave again. I cached the pixels we drew the audio wave to and only changed those back to black saving a huge amount of time.
Who would draft new legislation? I know it's not just politicians that do this but their staff helps a ton. I just don't see a good system of John Everyman drafting a bill that makes sense. That said I would like to see politicians get fixed cause the system is clearly broken.
