Where I live there is a "College Heights". It is not at a higher elevation, in fact it is one of the lowest areas, nor is it near the college. They just name shit whatever they think will make the most money.
Capitalism won't let anything about you be yours if it can be avoided and the government works for the corporations. With enough money and government interference anything is possible and it is utterly naive to think otherwise.
Having access to diseases that run in your family when you are adopted is a great benefit of it, and doing that at a private lab is way more expensive. And the one my sister did connected her with family members who were interested in being contacted. It's not that there is a lack of benefit to the service, it's that the services aren't worth the privacy intrusion.
I agree it is acceptable, I don't often miss an opportunity for a marathon- it just isn't really true to the book, it's more like bits of the book are scattered throughout the movies.

To be fair, as a Sci-fi writer L.Ron was actually pretty talented. I feel like I could have actually gotten in to his writing if I hadn't only ever known him as fucking L.Ron Hubbard the idiot father of Scientology.
I can't meditate without direction yet. I need the app ( I don't use this one, but I will when my free year runs out ) to keep me focused while I learn how to meditate. It seemed contradictory to me at first ,too, until I tried it for myself.
