I don't think that's the flex you think it is.

Because the police have too much power and we need to assert ours wherever we can. We shouldn't give in to authoritarian forces. Police were supposed to be trained to diffuse situations and protect the general population from crime - not manufacture crime and harasses, abuse, and murder people.

I tried telling this to a someone and they claimed it made sense. Then I ended up using a sentence with they/them replacing genders, inserting the subject's name where it made sense for clarity. " That is the most confusing text I have ever received."

I feel like you watched me grow up. For a long time I was smart enough to pick things up naturally, I was even offered to skip grades.

Then the math got complicated and I didn't know how to learn it. I went from being the smart kid to being the stupid one in remedial math. Being smart was all I had at that point, so when I "lost" that, I lost everything in my eyes. I was stupid and I was never going to be anything because of it.

I ended up getting my GED as an adult and I now have a promising career in insurance- so I didn't really lose everything, but when I was 15 it sure felt like I had.

But I don't know anyone to be in a group chat with! That's why I use social media 😭

I never said it did, I'm just saying that that bar is a lot harder for some people to reach and it very obviously isn't as simple as "fuck it". Some people need outside intervention before they are able to get the help they need. And again, there's the fact that all of the things that help cost enormous amounts of money or are completely unavailable. The original commenter makes it sound as if anyone can just go and get help as long as they themselves can gather the courage but that is simply untrue.

Also, I'm not someone who can't go out, I have a job that I attend daily and people I interact with regularly.

You also seem to think that because you did it anyone can,and that's not how it works. Do you think people like living this way or something? Of course people want to get better,but getting help certainly isn't as easy as "fuck it, let's go". Who can even afford to do any of those things?

Don't listen to your anxiety isn't particularly helpful and is much easier said than done. If you can just say "fuck it" and do it, then great for you 👍 but don't pretend that's viable advice for the general anxious population. When talking to people and being overstimulated gets you so anxious you start hysterically crying and vomitting saying "fuck it" and doing it anyways isn't going to help.

People want a way to express their dislike without getting in to a stupid internet fight about it. Look at how long people rallied for a dislike button on Facebook.

My two cats do exactly the same thing. I put the nip in the tops to large food containers so that it helps contain the nip a bit better while hopefully being easy to roll in after they've had a good nosh. They are the messiest stoners.

I don't think he actually cares about the money he blew on Twitter. Money is a construct and that is even more true for rich people. If he cared about the money, he wouldn't have tossed Twitter down the shitter.

I think he cares more about the impression he is making, whether it be good or bad. People are talking about Elon and that's all that matters.

The sub exists for a reason, no such thing as a stupid question when it is legitimately in the pursuit of knowledge, no matter how trivial the knowledge may seem.
