  • People's whose politics are fueled by hatred of others having rights are not good people, they just wear their good deeds as a "good people" costume.

    We've listened, and yes they are monsters. Their entire purpose is to take away from others. That's not good people.

  • I smoked for 23 years- started when I was 11 and tried quitting several times. I legitimately thought I was never going to be able to quit and cigarettes were hitting $15 a pack and I was at a loss. I wasn't ready to quit- I enjoy smoking- but I couldn't keep up with the cost of living and the cost of smoking so I went on Champex (Chantix in the US).

    I may not have been ready to quit, but it definitely made me ready. It started by making me nauseous and blocking my nicotine receptors before I even finished my first round of pills ( it is typically up to a year and it took 3 months for me) I was so done with cigarettes. I was super resistant to quitting too. That shit worked so well. 4 years later and I can't even stand the smell of someone's cigarette wafting across my nose.

  • There is also Chantix/Champex depending on your country. I found it to be extremely effective in turning me off of cigarettes. It made me nauseous and I think it changed how my brain felt about cigarettes until they disgusted me.

  • Vehicles mostly, but also predators that are larger than them. I live in what is essentially an urban forest and cats absolutely get picked off by larger predators. Domestic cats are only predators to small, essential ecosystems now.

  • Some of my office mates worked from home during COVID and their complaint was that is always felt like they were at work because of it and that separating work life from home life was difficult. Do you find that to be true?

  • One problem at time. Using the overwhelming tactic is just that, a tactic. Just because there are other issues we face, doesn't mean we shouldn't fight this battle. But at the end of the day the answer is yes- we should review all existing items that one can buy. Have you seen the state of the environment lately?
