Rokita is trying to get into headlines in order to parley that into winning the Republican nomination for governor (which because of Indiana’s political leanings, the GOP nominee will likely win). He is just trying to do stupid shit constantly to drum up outrage in order to make sure HIS name is more well known to more republican voters in the primary than his opponents.

He is literally using a raped 10 year old girl for career advancement, most vilest shit ever. Like not even fucking kidding you cannot make this shit up.

Some day, probably long after they’re all dead and buried, the Pink Floyd mini-series will be fucking epic to watch. Fleetwood’s would be pretty great too.

I feel the exact same way and work in the same field…it sucks for my work life personally but is a giant step in the right direction and I take the burden willingly. But it is gonna be a pain…most all data isn’t used maliciously but it is everywhere and all directions. Cleaning it up has been tough enough with the EU regulations but this law only will reinforce that data custody is something that has to be taken very seriously…which in a roundabout way will make life easier, eventually.

Why does it always have to be on the rest of society to take the highest road, offer all of the grace of community to those who actively participate, encourage and promote the destruction of our society?

Ever notice that they immediately have to take the role of the victim and expect to be treated in a polite manner, then get mad when society doesn’t respond the way they want? Fucking exhausting.

Yeah I think that’s it. It’s just different in my country, so feels unnatural that’s all…works kind of the opposite I think, here the person turning yields to the straight traffic when it is not marked.

In Germany, you can be driving straight down a road and someone can pull out onto the road from a turn and you have to yield to them. It seems extremely dangerous. Also, stop lights are directly above you, instead of across the street so if you’re looking at the stop light you can’t really pay attention very well to the traffic in the intersection.

A lot of stuff makes a lot more sense but these two things seem illogical to me.

On the acquired side, currently going through integration. We had a looking date to cutover a major portion of our systems and it was absolutely only a fail forward situation if it went south. Surprisingly, they recognized and listened to us saying it wasn’t ready and needed more time…got us six more months but definitely a rare moment from my experience in IT. Hopefully a sign that the new company knows what they are doing.
