McDonalds beef makes me sick every single time. It doesn't matter which McDonalds I go to or in which state, it's a widespread problem with their food.

If I eat any of their beef, I'm guaranteed to spend the next two or three days vomiting and sitting on the toilet. Sometimes both at the same time.

We have two right wing parties in the US. They pretend to oppose each other in public, yet they both take bribes and marching orders from the same rich donors.

Apparently the rest of the Democrat party doesn't feel the same about forming a bridge to the next generation. They'd much rather keep corrupt geriatric fools in charge rather than bow out gracefully while the next generations take over.

As for internet brain rot, I suspect that's due to the idolization of swiftly delivered entertainment over everything else.

People don't read anymore because it takes time and effort to get into the book. It takes commitment and thought. People would rather have entertainment fed to us in thousands of smaller doses. Get those micro dopamine hits with each swipe of your phone.

I suspect it's also a form of escapism. The world is turning to shit and TikTok brain rot works much in the same way as abusing drugs.

I have a coworker at a large shipyard who's an insane MAGA moron. He believes all women will soon be fired, and all non-white people are going to be deported.

He's writing down people's personal information, license plates, and such. He's not even trying to be stealthy about it.

All of the corruption is coming out in plain view. The democrats were never representatives of the people, only their own wallets.

He's in jail, last I checked. He had anger management issues and serious problems at home. For whatever reason, he took his problems out on me and others. He actually went into the women's restroom and physically attacked me.

In my last year of high school in 1999, the police asked him to step out of the classroom and into the hallway to "talk." There was loud voices, then the sound of a scuffle, shouting, and we could see then police had tackled him to the ground.

I don't exactly know what shit he was dealing with at home, but I heard it was bad. Still, that's no excuse for his behavior towards others.

I like to read books at my construction job when we're not busy. Yet none of my coworkers have read a book since early middle school, and they only skimmed it to half-ass a book report. I can't talk to them about anything except work.

I've never been beautiful my whole life. I'd give myself a 4 out of 10, a little less than average. I never really cared about my looks, I haven't worn makeup in ages.

I'd be interested in giving beauty a trial run, see if it suits me better than intelligence.

The people may be liberal, but the politicians are not. They like to pretend to be, but we have no left wing party in the US. We have a right wing party that's oligarch in nature, and another right wing party that theocratic in nature.

Because conspiracy theorists are idiots who can't or won't face the facts of reality.
