That's the downside on if a major publisher agrees to publish your game. Typically the big ones will exert control over the game development; NMS is mostly indie so they can do what they want.
If it was up to some bigwig at EAVISIONUBI CORP. the game probably would have been dropped after it failed. CD PROJEKT RED also self-published, so it was entirely up to them on fixing Cyberpunk or not.
People said this over and over so I picked up the game a year ago on sale. I can't say I like the "twist". It just filled me with dread and anxiety, >!especially the sun changing color and getting bigger,!< without explaining anything.
I need to look into this, I was heavily invested in the Adept and Xanth series, and finding book 2 of Bio of a Space Tyrant, physically, is near impossible. I had no idea he was wrapped in any kind of controversy, but to be fair I haven't kept up with him in over a decade.
Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality series of books. The first book alone, where a guy who was about to unalive himself accidentally kills death instead as he walks in the door to take his soul, would make an awesome series. Each book takes on a different aspect of Immortality (Death, War, Time, Nature, etc.) and how they overcome Satan by not being used for ultimate evil.
That last sentence may seem religion-forward but the author, Piers Anthony, is not a religious writer by any means. Another series of his, Bio of a Space Tyrant, could be an ultra gritty R rated Sci-fi epic with the right director.
I've been experimenting with AP flour, bread flour, instant yeast, and "pizza" yeast. This one was bread flour with pizza yeast and, compared to the instant yeast balls I made, it was definitely more loose and concerning when I was trying to shape the pie.
What you can't see since this was the last dough ball we had: after putting down the sauce and mozzarella/aged parm mixed cheese, we put bacon bits, THEN pepperoni, THEN grated parmesan reggiano on top. It was amazing 🤩
You're in for a treat with Bubblegum Crisis. I'd also recommend Nyan Koi, Evangelion (totally not niche but why not), and for a recent anime that has a 90s feel, Megalo Box. I'm a trove of anime suggestions lol
I only started using Edge because people were saying it was the only way to get true HD on Netflix. Now it's a secondary browser, and I can't say I like it much.
I'm a 90s kid, and I haven't watched American History X partially because of how uncomfortable I think it'll make me feel. Seems like a culturally significant film, but not one people watch more than once.
Canaan was the shit! Try finding fans of Bubblegum Crisis, Noir, Eatman, or Bakumatsu Kikensetsu Irohanihoheto; 90s anime kids don't get together and have rewatch parties lol
Now that you mention it the 360 would have made the most sense to ship with HDMI since the original Xbox was the first console to launch with Ethernet access built-in.
HDMI combined with a Blu-ray player, instead of a separate HD-DVD, could have given it the edge over the PS3. Although Blu-ray is/was a Sony technology they ended up having to do it anyways in the Xbox One ¯(ツ)/¯
