My expectation is that a lot of people will at the least buy in at the start due to the amount of publicity, then sell off after the initial rush.

I didn't realize I should have deleted my posts before my account. So they get to keep my stupid one-line asinine comments I made

My wife and I go out of our way to try to reinforce the fact that we, as parents, very very very much appreciate their teachers. We give them Christmas cards, end of year cards, we donate gifts to them, and any time they send home a letter saying they are running low on supplies we donate something with a thank you card. Hopefully this eventually becomes apparent to the kids that they should appreciate the teachers just as much.

My first trip to Florida from Ohio I was on a tour at Kennedy Space Center. When I got there I noticed all the people in jackets, it was 65F, I was perplexed. Now the opposite is also true, I hate weather over 80F, too dang hot.

I used to work with a lot of low level Executives and in every meeting they'd say something like "add some stats to the deck", without fail my first thought was Magic the Gathering or Pokemon.

I'm confused how they could be paid in stock options when they aren't traded. Do they just use made up numbers until this point and get "paid" in exposurebucks?

Next Fest is quickly becoming my favorite Steam Sale, and it isn't even Sale. I love being able to have a quicky try of things that look interesting.

No doubt, it is just funny to be that passenger rail is so out of fashion in the US that most of the population things the rails simply don't exist, when they clearly do, in droves even. They are just privately owned and rarely shared.

The United States has more usable rail miles than all of Europe combined. But it's limited to freight traffic only. Amtrak has to lease time on the rails, which is why it's pricey

How dare they try to bring this to a larger market at exactly the same price as that other company without increasing the price.

I had a business idea (Which I'll never do because that is too much work) where I essentially go around and just buy/lease people's roofs and install solar panels on them. I'd pay either a portion of the energy re-sell value over a very lengthy period of time, or a flat estimated portion amount of return. I feel like solar's biggest issue is mostly land so people don't really do much with their roof, it's free real estate!

Instead of someone coming by and saying "Pay us to put solar on your roof" you'd get me going "I will pay you to let me put a thing on your roof which you will probably never notice, I'll even insure the roof so if there is storm damage to your roof I'll cover it".

Add in the situation where you decide to keep the panels you can buy them off me by either buying it straight up, or letting me just keep the portion I would be giving you for some amount of time, then your roof and the panels' ownership would revert back to the homeowner.

"Key Executives" seems like an oxymoron

If you're making money that means it could have been more money if you just paid those greedy non-executive workers less.

Our profit margins are hurting due to young people not wanting to work and not fully understanding the gift, the boon, the euphoria of owning a TV and paying for services you don't use. This has nothing to do with our prices, lack of customer service, or our programming being flooded with repetitive drivel.
