Absolutely. I want to keep the filibuster, but I want them to have to stand and talk the whole time. Cloture could still stop it. It would show who is really committed to a cause and who is just doing whatever is politically expedient.

Case in point: the downvotes are from people who don't know or care about the difference.

Depends on what you're calling AI. LLMs (and generative AI in general) are garbage for all those things, and most things in general (all things if you take their cost into account). Machine Learning and expert systems can do at least some of that.

I absolutely hate that generative AI is being marketed as though it's deep learning instead of a fancy Markov chain. But I think I've lost the battle over that nomenclature.

Yep, and you can tell what spells they're using pretty often (obviously adapted for screen) without someone yelling "Your Maximillion's Earthen Grasp is no match for my Bigby's Hand!" so it's fun as a player to see that as well.

My buddy has been fighting that fight for a while. He is "lucky" that he has an extra few grand a month because he's got 100% disability through the military (another whole ass fight that someone who came back missing one leg and with a bunch of psychiatric conditions shouldn't have to fight). He barely breaks even but he loves raising cattle.

Thoughtfully reduced and changed. I don't trust that the red tape reduction in this case was thoughtful, though I will admit I haven't looked myself. With all the shit being thrown at the wall it's impossible to keep up, even though nuclear power generation is one of my areas of interest.
