  • OK i will take the bait one last time:

What are these games with NFT from major publishers?

A simple question and the first sentence of your comment.

I couldn't find anything for 2024 but please enlighten me.

I thought it was fairly obvious that it is irrelevant to mention NFT games from years ago. The issue here is that Ubisoft just released their NFT games.

You mentioned a diablo immortal thing and I don't understand how this was relevant to this conversation about NFT.

I'm not moving the goalposts because there isn't any. You talk about stuff that are not using NFT technology or are dated from 2023, a year where NFT was the trendy thing every major publishers indeed wanted to pursue.

But now Ubisoft is the only major publisher to develop a NFT game.

  • This FF NFT bullshit was released in early 2023.

Your original comment was about other major publishers releasing NFT games recently and you saying we were mean just to Ubisoft because

I checked anyway and couldn't find any major publisher releasing that types of game in 2024. Only small NFT games from structures that are smaller than 100 people. Ubisoft has like 18k people working for them.

  • Can you tell me what "major publisher" released an NFT game recently? As in the last 6 months or even a year?

Also the most expensive "card" for this NFT game is supposed to be 50000$. So that's also the insane pricing and pay to win model associated with that game that makes it particularly egregious.

But I'm genuinely curious to see those other NFT games recently published.

  • Yes, i already installed a PoP OS in dual boot and tried things out.

I will test games on it in the next months to prepare for Windows deletion. I just hope a game I really like won't go out not working decently on Linux or I'm afraid I will lose my momentum/motivation.

At the very least I intend to only boot windows for those game that really don't work on Linux.

  • This attack in New Orleans feels really bad for me as a French person because it reminds me of that attack we had in 2016 where a truck killed 86 people on our national day.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Nice_truck_attack

I can't help to think your terrorist attack was somehow inspired from that 2016 terrible terrorist attack.

  • Also the automated moderation on YT is also terrible.

Basically, Google never invested enough in their moderation systems. All we get is automated checks and appeals until one overworked uninterested Google employee will just refuse the final appeal.

And if that dev/creator has a community large enough they can appeal on X or some bullshit so that it's reverted.

  • The Official client was mid at best and hundred of thousands of people where on various third party apps.

Then Spez wanted to sell API access to train AI so it became prohibitively expensive for most third party reddit clients to continue.

So I didn't want to use their app and on top of that it was to sell my data to AI businesses.

I actually wanted to nuke all my comments to be sure they couldn't use them but didn't manage to do it reliably.

But yeah the fact that they completely killed the reddit client I used just to sell my data for AI training was the last straw for me.

Also reddit was getting quite toxic especially in some subreddits IMO.

  • Just a reminder that in Europe we use normal sized cars :)

So the average car here in France can definitely fuel from the wrong side. You still need to park the car close to the pump but it works.

Now if you try to do that with a Cybertruck...
