About 1/3 of the time when I ask Siri to call my wife Rita (not real name), I get “I’m sorry, but there are no Rita’s in your contacts”. There are at least three. How can it not search local contacts correctly?

Yes. I follow the same small sub here for my favorite sports team, but there are simply not enough people to have many. posts and great discussions. So I still read the Reddit sub. But I don’t have their app, so it is only from my gaming pc, which severely limits my time there.

This is what changed my mind on the death penalty. I have no problem putting a murderer or pedo to death, but we keep freeing people when new evidence is found that proves their innocents. Until we can get it right 100% of the time, we should just lock them up until death.

I agree. Unless it is too high or too long, let it work it’s magic. You will be miserable, but likely get well faster. Take something for the congestion, drink plenty of fluid, and go to bed and sleep or lay on the couch and watch movies.

And housing is still affordable because they control zoning at the federal level and build houses to meet demand.

This is because the extra lane allows demand to change. It is not congested so people feel ok building and moving to further out suburbs. This continues until demand has increased to cause delays.

Note that Houston and Paris have about the same population. Paris is 1/3 the size. They are actually removing a lane from their loop highway and planting trees, and turning another lane into busses only. Only considering transportation, I would much rather live in Paris.

Paramedics are on call those long hours, not necessarily actually working. In some places they can even sleep on the clock.

It is not a valid comparison. Many deaths are in bad weather or in bad roads. Tesla self driving will not even turn on in these conditions. I do not believe apples to apples data exists.

Wear and condition are more important than year in my book. Yes, age does cause some issues, but they are less common. I buy older low mileage cars that were well cared for. But they are hard to find. It sometimes takes months of watching.
