  • I think I didn't even realize they typed that to be honest lmao haha

  • Talk for yourself, a lot of us like GN. I also don't understand the need to be so disrespectful towards Steve.

  • We have been with Freedom for a while now. Their reach isn't as good as the other companies but the plans are amazing. My spouse pays like $35 for US/Canada and with a good chunk of data (20GB I think?).

  • And yet, they don't have the same features, which make the comparison pointless

  • Humble Games is the publisher, Humble Bundle is another thing

  • It seems everyone here think an organization can't have multiple teams working in more than one thing at the same time

  • So things stop being usable as soon as they become mainstream?

  • The thing about VSCode is that it was lightweight and modular with the extensions. At least for me.

  • My only issue with frozen bread is that I always forget it is in the freezer and it ends up being there for months until I am unsure if it is okay to eat it

  • I looked for a toggle very hard but there isn't any, sadge

  • Oh yes, it is also feels so good that the richer have priority on transactions because they can pay exorbitant fees while you sometimes need to wait more than a month for a transaction to be confirmed.

I had to make a transaction to a private tracker and I don't want to go through it never again.

  • When you are moving with a PR from Express Entry that's basically what happens. You get accepted for being skilled labor and after getting into the Country you can get a job, not the other way around. That's why you have to show proof you can sustain yourself for a year unemployed.

  • I'm curious why no one recommending FlorisBoard.

I've been using GraoheneOS as my daily driver for months now. I still have issues with things that need Google Localization (car sharing program in my city for example) and I've had a few banking apps complaining when being installed from the Aurora Store.

I miss having my cards on my phone quite a lot.

  • I'm totally with you, lol.

I think they are mega hypocrites, they love making fun of Sony for sueing due to copyright/trademark on stuff and then proceeded to do the same thing.

    Plus, they sponsor Linus.

  • I am yet to find an alternative for AndroidTV.

  • I have been using Readeck! Highly recommend it

  • Glad you feel better! If you're still looking for something to watch, try GDQ (Games Done Quick), it is ending tomorrow but some runs are very engaging and I love the Mario relay race! Here's a video if you are curious.

  • I tried Nekogram but it is also showing ads. It only shows adds on public channels, though.

  • I started "hating" Windows more recently. I was never a very technical user but I was always someone that could find myself around system configuration and they just keep hiding ways of letting you customize things.

When I started learning programming I was still trying to use only Windows but at some point I got extremely tired of fighting how clunky environmental variables can be. Installing things such as gcc and python was extremely annoying.

Then I did dual boot for a few years, then I started using WSL. WSL is... Awful, lol. It will never ask you if it is okay to stop what you are doing to reboot, I lost count of how many times I was working on something and suddenly my Linux environment was dead.

This year the amount of clutter they are adding to Windows and the existence of Proton just kicked the bucked for me, everywhere you look at Windows is busy and full of stuff I don't want to be there and like I said previously, you either can't remove it or it is difficult because they just want it to be.

I might need to figure out how to run a Windows VM if I need to run something (hasn't happened yet) but that's it, I don't need to deal with all the bs anymore and I can customize things as I like. I love it.

I wouldn't say I hate Windows now, I just kind of despise it after so many years. I wish I heard my professors that kept shitting on Windows so many years ago.
