Watched the Digital Foundry video and was really impressed on the fact it is so segmented. I thought it was aiming to be like No Man's Sky but I guess I might have misheard at some point
My experience with people from university is that they have extremely strong opinions about things they don't know very much how they work outside theory. There is this syndrome that you have to do everything from scratch with low level languages and keep shitting on anything that uses abstraction to make your life easier.
I don't know why people in this industry have this need of feeling that they're better than others.
By my understanding on the matter, it depends on use case. Ecommerce websites benefit greatly from SSR due to the fact that they want to be able to show content as quickly as possible so the user have something to interact with. It also improves SEO.
WSL has been super garbage for me with the WM closing without warning to update and if you don't limit the ram usage it just takes everything available because it just doesn't free memory that isn't using anymore. Two issues that have been open on the repository for a long time.
My first "good" keyboard is my current one, which is a Ducky One 2 Mini with MX Cherry Browns I bought really cheap 2nd hand. It has been almost 2 years I've been using it and I recently got a coiled cable for it. I was cleaning it the last time and I started to wonder how hard it would be if I wanted to change my switches and fell into a hole where now I want to desolder everything and install sockets. My spouse got lubs for his stabilizers (he has a Filco Majestouch 2 Ninja with MX Cherry Blues) after watching a few videos... We just started diving into this deeper and deeper after using keyboards from the time cherry still had the patent up for so long. Yeah, we are screwed.
Magic the Gathering, eletronics (repair/modding), retro video games, mechanical keyboards, coffee, board games, even cooking...
I wanted to fix my Switch because I didn't want to pay $120 for the repair and I definitely already paid more than $120 in tools. I will use them for other repairs and modding things so it isn't that bad.
I agree. However how do we explain people that are most likely burning books for hate speech/xenophobic reasons that they should stop doing that? This is a really hard subject and I completely agree that passing laws for this can be a slippery slope for other things.
Has anyone found one that allows the Deck to sit on the official dock? We bought the one from Spigen and after getting the dock we realized they aren't compatible.
This is the perfect instance
