Just wanted to share my experience as someone that just updated to a p8p with GrapheneOS.
This is the first time I install a custom ROM in a smartphone and it hasn't been easy but I'm pretty impressed so far. I installed their sandbox Google Play/Services to keep using banking apps and other apps that need it. Everytime I install an app it asks if it should have internet access permission so I can use Gboard without the need to use NetGuard.
I can limit storage scopes for every app. If I want WhatsApp to only be able to access my Downloads folder, I can. If I want to trick it saying that it has access to my contacts, I also can.
The biggest issue for me now is probably install/use things in a way that just don't throw all the OS purpose out of the window and without asking questions considering how awful people can be when they think a question is dumb.
I was a bit disappointed with the lack of microSD but I realized I probably wouldn't use it. I also had to install a custom launcher to customize icons and such.
One thing that worries me is how to setup a way to find my phone in case I lose it.
It puts Google Play/Services inside a sandbox so it doesn't get any priorities and can have permissions revoked like any other app (internet access/storage scopes/etc)
We were able to get the LE after more than 20 minutes of trying. I had it on cart on web and the desktop app, the desktop app gave an error while trying to process the payment which put me all the way back to the cart but the web window was able to process it!
Yeah. Unfortunately the hardware doesn't run last gen games as other options but the need to deal with Windows is a nono for me. Also I don't understand why people want to play AAA games on a handheld.
I'd recommend having your library spread through various sources as sometimes extensions stop working and you might need to migrate all mangas one by one
Thanks for this question, OP! I made the mistake of asking this question on Tachiyomi's discord and they were very unpleasant about it (and apparently they don't want people using all the same extensions too).
Some have already been mentioned here but currently I have been using:
MangaDex (I still don't know how to make NSFW titles appear tho)
Like said previously you don't have to play them in order. All the personas are great games to play on handhelds, I recommend it 100% (just be warned that the first persona isn't was good looking as the other ones, but still a good game).
It is good to give people the benefit of the doubt (I know it is hard, but trust me it works wonders). I could easily say that my Switch was a paper weight for a long time before I actually got use out of it, so they didn't elaborate and maybe wanted to show frustration that their investment wasn't good enough for their use. When in doubt just ask people to elaborate, no need to escalate.
