A lot of Catholics treat it as one of their faith’s “matters of conscience” and form their own personal opinions on the matter.

Roman Catholicism finds itself in a very awkward place with regard to abortion. The Church itself was the creator of the concept of Social Justice and many of its faithful (rightfully, imo) seek to apply a similar philosophy to the topic of abortion.

Catholics are historically a strong Democratic voter base. The last two decades have seen that shift to a near 50/50 split as blue collar white voters (of which Catholics make up a sizable portion) have shifted rightward dramatically.

Idk man when I was living abroad it was pretty easy to get a gun and a license for it in most places. The real difference is how long it takes to get the license — months to a year instead of a few days for the NCIS check.

Makes sense, it's only reasonable to expect economy wide reduction in tech workers and positions as the global workforce recovers from the overtraining and overhiring that was the hallmark of the 2000s and 2010s. This is a good thing, society's responsibility is to make retraining easy and accessible for the millions of trained tech workers who represent the overage.
