I had an old account banned site wide for asking why there was an obvious gay guy on love island. Wasn't even a malicious post I was genuinely curious how he faked his way on there.
Recently I got a temp ban for mentioning chatgpt on the books sub, someone was asking about a large selection of books and which were worth reading. I told him to get chatgpt to sort the list out by most popular. Apparantly even mentioning an llm exists there is a ban.
Kinda get the second one as authors all think chatgpt stealing from them or something but yeah I was talking about sorting a large list
Doesn't really matter most European tech is way ahead of the US anyway, it's just they the US pay stupid amounts to their own companies. I kinda feel most US tech is a super expensive in comparison honestly.
I feel a cupholder on a US jet would be valued at something like 50,000. I'd honestly be really curious how a Rafale fared against say a f-35 I suspect it would win
My suspicion is an European jets would own and devestate an American ones while being a small fraction of the price.
Yes I am honestly saying while America spends stupid amount off Defense they don't hold the slightest advantage tech wise.
Sorry to tell you but irn bru went from god tier to pour down the toilet tier.
They did try to pull it back with 1911 version but it's nowhere as good as it was before the sugar tax and completely uncarbonated and priced like it's liquid gold.
Trouble with that in the UK is Coca-cola is the only soft drink really that hasn't bowed to the sugar tax and changed their recipe to be full of artificial sweeteners.
I absolutely can't stand the taste of these sweeteners and some even make me feel kinda of bad after drinking them.
I don't think I've found a single use for Gemini it either refuses any questions I ask or just can't do the task. I think everytime I've tried something I've resorted to using a different llm. Google has really lost its tech edge imo.
I'd rather use a Swiss messenger than basically any other country, but yeah Threema is not mainstream and might as well not exist to most normals.
I'd trust them personally over any other country though, and I did once make my own messenger that used a few different encryptions (main one was serpent) and 2 passwords (using a lot of variations on both with slightly dif encryption types in multiple rounds which I'll be honest was slow) . But yeah most normal people need to at least know something is mainstream/popular before they will ever install an app.
I use signal but if I could convince everyone I knew to use a messenger for security it would be Threema. No chance of that happening it's hard enough convincing people to use signal.
