  • Like any tool, they’re not dangerous unless improperly maintained or piloted. I can virtually guarantee you, this will come down to either a guilty mechanic (or policies governing mechanic activities) or a guilty pilot. This is not a consequence of “helicopters are fundamentally unsafe vehicles, unfit for tourist consumption.” Laughable.

  • Jesus Christ, stop asking people on the internet for their dumbass opinions on things and just do your shit.

Think something’s funny? Go and do it. Show it to your friends. If they have the same sense of humor, they’ll laugh. Show it to some girls, they’ll laugh if they’re into your shit. That’s how it works.

Socialization is rough, bro. It doesn’t always work out. You’ve got to try shit. Sometimes you get rejected, sometimes it’s a hit. That’s just how it flows. Experience real life, my man. Get off your phone and touch grass.

  • LOL, the Amish Philosophy.

Nothing so crude. I simply think it’s better for the universe if we don’t propagate it, because we’re not a good enough example for other species to follow yet. It’s not about respecting “God’s” law so much as acknowledging humanity’s limitations. We’re a pathetic species, not ready for rulership over multiple planets, let alone multiple solar systems. My comment simply suggests I don’t have confidence we ever will be. This has nothing to do with the Amish belief that we’re better in a simplistic state; just that the universe is better without us in whatever state.

  • There is some truth to this in that one of the first distinctions infants learn to make is “good/bad” or “pleasure/pain,” in terms of its ability to analyze its own emotional states.

That being said, it’s still an increíble oversimplification of even an infant's mind.

  • Racism is prejudice based on race. The addition of a power structure was added to make racism against Whites more palatable. It’s a mix of denial and rationalization. And it’s racist as hell.

Edit: I assume you also think it’s impossible to be sexist against men? Or heterophobic against straight people? All this is is an attempt to whitewash racism against people who look like the people doing the oppressing. It’s a generalization based on race, which is—by definition—racist. Why not direct your anger at the incredibly tiny group of people actually creating the power structures of the world, rather than funneling it into useless and hypocritical counter-racism?

  • I absolutely hate timed quests in games. I’m perfectly capable of suspending a little bit of disbelief—in fact, I prefer it sometimes. Don’t fucking rush me during my relaxation activity.

  • There’s a game called Haven that you might want to check out. It involves you playing your chosen side of a couple trying to survive on an alien planet, hiding out from a society that wants to prevent you from being together. Lots of relationship RPing and that sort of thing.
