  • Man, I am the underpaid person in my supply chain.

And its a lot less ethical for people to profit billions off the labour of others than for me to profit a few thousand that I need to eat.

  • Thousands of underpaid workers in publishing offices, marketers, delivery drivers, and bookstore workers. Without them JK Rowling makes nothing, but they didn't get any extra pay from the success of Harry Potter.

  • I think OP meant NeoLiberal.

  • According to this the average pair of boobies is 860 pounds, sounds about right.

  • 1 song every 2 months. Beyonce releases several songs per album, plus all the other artists tracks she sings on.

  • I was stating it as not a disadvantage of waiting 2 weeks for an empty showing. The viewing experience in a theater with an empty showing kicks the crap out of any home viewing experience.

  • I've never had it be inconvenient, just wait 2 or 3 weeks after release and most movie showings are pretty empty. It's not like you can legally watch the movie at home at that point anyway.

  • I haven’t been to a theater in years

Clearly, cause now a days they have designated seating and actively displayed sales, so you can always sit exactly where you want, and go to show times with fewer people so you don't have as many around. I've gotten the perfect seats in nearly empty theaters every time I've seen a movie for the last few years, and it's always been an awesome experience.

  • Nope, completely different experience. Sitting a few feet from a 60" TV does not have the same sense of scale as a 40' screen, unless you're sitting at the very back of the theater. A 40' screen feels huge.

I have a very nice home setup, but the theater is bigger and better.

  • Not terribly. But in real life they placed the sword tip between their ribs to pierce their heart.

  • That's basically what it says, just worded differently.

  • Unless your TV is 40 feet, it isn't beating the theater experience.

  • I can't afford a small 2 bedroom in my city. Hell I can barely afford 1. I wish two bedrooms now were the price they were back then (inflation adjusted of course).

  • The house I grew up in was a Sears house. Chimneys were stacked stones from where they dug the basement, put together with simple mortar. Concrete was used inside to create the fireplace beds (basement and main floor). Not very complicated to do really.

  • Ecoresins definitely have much lower VOCs than most resins, so they are safer. And odor does strongly correlate with VOC level since there are very few VOCs that are odorless.

On a separate tangent for me, working in a chemistry lab I breathe in way worse shit, so I don't care about some resin, the long term damage is extremely minor.

  • I don;t use a respirator, but I also use Ecoresins or water washable resins, and they have very low odors. I recommend AnyCubic Ecoresin.

  • You can also use a dark nail polish if you don't want tape covering everything.

  • You can bring a solar panel with you to keep it charged if you have a long visit of convincing people you're magic planned.

  • You don't need a network to make a smartphone black magic. Just taking pictures is enough, but also single player games, calculators, word processors, image editors, music players, really any non-networked application is still magic to pre-computer people.

  • They don't balance the budget, they haven't in decades. All they do now is enrich their donors and friends. If they really wanted to balance the budget they would raise taxes on the rich, not cut essential services.
