Are you worried people with guns might try to take your money? Why take chances? You should hire these people with guns who will for sure take your money.

That's the "obvious plant" logo. A search of "obvious plant dylan" comes up with many much higher quality sources. Without needing to know how to reverse image search. "Dylan meme" also finds versions of it without needing to recognise the logo.

Because people they shouldn't trust but do, lie to them.

Someone they know has stock in the old way of doing things presumably. It's usually money they kill people for.

Finally, he's doing something to lower the price of eggs. The long national nightmare is over. Now we can just eat flu eggs for cheap. Problem solved, permanently for some people.

Yeah it's "I want people to stop acting like I'm a jerk when I say mean things", "but I also want them to not be able to say mean things about me, cuz that isn't fair to me". And yes, it should sound like a toddler having a temper tantrum. Including a complete misunderstanding of the entire concept of fairness.

This is from 15 years ago, so I don't know how much has changed since then. But this sounds like the sort of thing they mean.

My concern is, part of the design of the app is to know when the user is underage and detect when they are sending a nude. While I appreciate them putting a 'speed bump' there... detecting that specific event could also be an attack vector. Hopefully, we can trust the company that removed "do no evil" from their mission statement to do no evil here...

Not really the type of conspiracy they go for, it's being done overtly, visibly, and in a way that everyone believes it is going on. Most of the "fun" of crazy conspiracies is that you have to convince everyone that you aren't crazy, that it's totally happening, and your proof is real... none of that is necessary here, they are plainly stating what they are doing, no smoke, no mirrors. Just blatant criminal power grabbing.

The phrase "minding their own business" has a completely different and much more sinister meaning in this context though.

The article goes on to mention he is either lying or doesn't know what he is talking about as the system is very much still in place. It could be either, and likely it's both, that he doesn't know enough to be sure if he did or not, but would be ok if it turns out to be a lie anyway.

Can't be seen trying to lower emmisions by having shorter flights to their concentration camps, that is teetering dangerously on the edge of woke... probably, it's hard to nail down where their version of woke is.
