Like 20 years ago I had this grand idea to sell add on kits for shopping carts to grocery stores. One would divide the cart in half so you could have heavy stuff separate from chips/bread/whatever. Another had all kinds of hooks/holders for stuff like that.
Should’ve done something with that idea apparently.
It being huge is an understatement. They have dorms where people live on-site and it’s they are massive. Multiple soccer complexes and tons of restaurants all on campus.
I visited the BYD factory years ago. I have no idea how big it is compared to others but it absolutely blew my mind. I was up on like 5th floor and when they sounded the lunch bell it looked like ants out the window. I think they said it was about 600k employees in that building.
You can already do this but Memmy can’t change the setting. If you login directly to Lemmy there is a setting in your account to hide/show NSFW content.
You’re not going to have much luck blocking ads within apps with any other option I’m aware of. Maybe android has some OS wide ad blocking but iOS doesn’t.
Random apps are going to be harder. Best option for your home network will be to setup a pihole. I’ve causally followed it but never actually set one up myself. I’ve heard it’s great.
Its odd because on paper you’re right. Life Aquatic should also be in the weird bucket but I don’t put it there for some reason. It worked much more somehow.
I could see but it seems like a washer would be a much easier way to do this rather than bending like that
