  • That these police stations are there to put pressure on Chinese-Americans, and there's no job description or security clearance that will stop this influence.

  • As a work from homer who gets twice as much done in half the time, I'm eyeballing your own delusion xD

And this isn't a self assessment, it comes from my boss, who is fighting tooth and nail to keep us from having to go back into the office with numbers and spreadsheets proving it.

These decisions are top down and have very little to do with what's actually happening on the front line.

  • Honestly though, wtf are we gonna do if he wins the election while he's behind bars?

  • I listened to that soundtrack longer than I've listened to some decent artists, ngl

  • Will someone just tell this guy he's not cool?

  • It's more than that. TSMC expects American workers to operate under Asian expectations which is long hours for lower pay. They can't keep American workers b/c they just say no and work for the competition.

  • The problem is not 'Capitalism'. It's the JACK WELCH brand of Capitalism, the one that tears apart the soul of any company that produces goods and turns it into a robot for profit with the sacrifice of any meaningful corporate planning or infrastructure (including workers) investment.

Until THIS ends, Capitalism is, in fact, an evil.

Edit: Honestly. Please. Look up what Welch did to GE and how it spread to every other corporation. It's EYE opening.

  • Yeah sign is clear as mud.

  • I've started telling people to prepare for the Mad Max times. Yeah it's hyperbole, but it actually makes them pause for half a second.

What's disturbing is the gleam in some alt-right people's eyes.

  • I would sure hope so. If I look at myself (since that's where I have context) I'd say yes. I think a lot of the shittiness in people's personalities stems from trying to meet their needs (some of them unreasonable) and competing with everyone else to get them. That's a very me versus you mentality which leads to aggression and forms bad personality traits.

I'd like to say that everyone begins to understand wants versus needs after a few decades, and settles down into a pattern of contentment rather than resentment.

That's just not true though, is it?

  • Not to mention a gaming laptop will literally cook the skin off your legs.

  • she views everything as new, and interesting, and may I never, ever shutter that desire to learn more

Honestly this drives my everything. I'm 51 and while I can hear a few creaks and groans, this rolling stone is moving. The world has always been as horrible as we seem to think it is today, but it is also breathtakingly new. Never let that go.

  • I cold brew my favorite bean the night before and enjoy it sugar free the next day. Hate the bitter.

  • This 100%. When I heard Russia went into Ukraine my response was just like I had a date but couldn't go b/c Uncle Harvey shit his bed again.

  • "Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer" Javik (Mass Effect)

  • Came here to say this. Bioware has been a bastion of this type of game for decades. You owe it to yourself to check out their creations.

  • I can only like this post twice heheh. Totally agree.
