  • Only had dial-up so insert youvegotmail but then got introduced to bbs and freaked out when I realized I was actually typing to a real person who would gasp! respond.

Not long after I entered the brave new world of irc and the rest was history. Internet=RabbitHole 4ever!

  • Sorry, maybe because I'm American, so in case our other friends are confused... Managers are below Executives in every capacity and when you 'flatten' your radial grid, they mean firing managers. They are the yessiest of the yes men in corporate america.

C-Suite = CEO, CTO, CFO, etc.

Executives = Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors, etc.

Managers = The people who manage the workers, ie handle scheduling, duties, metrics, and having to eventually fire someone because the people above tell them to.

Workers = The people who actually know the job.

  • The point stands, though. TB can come from unexpected vectors and there is no traditional vaccine offered to the public. Until that happens, it doesn't make as much sense to blame tuberculosis on a state that may also be making boneheaded decisions regarding vaccines in general. Just the ones who would say no when it was offered.

I am now taking a hard look at voluntarily getting this vaccine for sure.

  • I literally wonder if this wasn't some kind of epic troll. Trump's team asks a scientist about the particulars, and the scientist fully understands how stupid they are, so just fails to make that one final conclusion to them and just sends it. xD Sorry, I gotta find humor where I can.

  • I mean, it's inconsequential in the grand scheme of things but Americans have been asking to get rid of changing the clocks every year and nobody's just.... DONE IT. It's an act of goodwill if nothing else.

  • Moreover while there's no proof it HAS been done, inserting some new bit of code in a Chinese owned app could perform security breaches inside the user's phones. I'm not even sure they'd be interested in MY info, but they sure would like to have access to my company's network complete with VPN.

  • This is accurate really. Linux Mint is excellent for people who want to get away from Windows and learn Linux because it looks similar. Bazzite, however, especially the KDE version, honestly looks better than Windows at this point, imo.

In addition to making gaming much much easier, it also has an atomic code core, meaning that all the stuff you will eventually break on Linux Mint by playing around with different programs... and eventually lead to a new Linux user re-installing... is almost non-existent. Programs are installed in their own space with their own dependencies, meaning that they don't encroach on any other programs using similar drivers, configurations, etc. When those programs are uninstalled, they're just gone.

So if you can finally game on a Linux distro, not worry so much about borking a linux distro, and it looks and feels both modern and intuitive at the same time...

Why not put in on a spare laptop or something and get some hours in? Microsoft needs some serious pruning and unfortunately they seem immune to criticism that doesn't come in the way of lost revenue.
