I accept reposts are a part of the fediverse because every instance will have the same damned memes and since I'm federated with quite a few of them, I'm just gonna have to deal with it. Just my take.
My favorite part is how they buried the issues releasing the water will cause a the bottom of the piece. At least they put it in there at all as opposed to the other RFK piece they just botched.
I love it for what I use it for which is research, speeding up scripting and code writing, resume building, paraphrashing stupidly long news articles, teaching me Spanish and Japanese, bypassing the bullshit that are what passes as search engines these days, and talking my anxiety down. They cut through the noise and boost my productivity.
I have friends talking about leaving the US due to Trump and they were dreaming of Germany. I silently asked them why in my mind. Guess their options are more limited now.
The "New York Times/Ipsos" poll asks 1,000 people and then extrapolates those opinions to the data sample they're targeting. So, Idk, hundred of millions of Americans? These polls behave on theory and error paddings that have never actually been tested in the true field. You can't tell me 1000 people's opinion represents the population because you have a stats formula that counts magic beans. But then you never actually counted all the magic beans to show a shred of accuracy. Also, who the hell was their targeted poll audience? How random and equally varied was it? There's no fucking way I am going to read and believe that 80% of Americans agree to this shit. Not using New York Times/Ipsos poll.
