  • Well, you still need a client if you're on mobile. I'm not going to watch my video essays through a browser if I can do it through an app. I use libretube which ends up being Piped under the hood, it's just smoother.

I also used to use revanced because it allowed me to keep a few public playlists up to date (something you can only do by interfacing with Youtube). People have their reasons for things.

  • Yeah I used to love this guy's world record videos, like the ones for DOOM and Goldeneye. He was basically doing the same thing as SummoningSalt but it was entertaining. Then he just became a drama channel which I am not at all interested in.

  • I'm interested in comparison between the 2 questions. 15% of Republicans think he's guilty, but 18% approve of the verdict. 86% of democrats think he's guilty but 88% approve of the verdict. That means that for both parties, there are at least a few people who think he's not guilty, but regardless approve of him being in legal trouble. I'd like to pick their brains and see what's up.

  • I liked season 4, but season 1 just can't be topped for me because of how grounded it was. Just normal characters from a small town experiencing supernatural things in a way that's believable. The rest of the show is good as long as you let go of any wishes that it stayed grounded like season 1.

  • I bet it has to do with the average age of the gaming community getting older. I used to play Civ 5, EU4, CK2 all the time in college, when I have tons of free time and didnt care if I was up until 3 in the morning. Now that I have a life and a job, it takes like a week of 1-2 hour sessions to finish a game of civ 5, and the last time I played EU4, I played for several weeks and didnt even finish.

  • What, nobody read it before it was published? Whenever I've tried to publish anything it gets picked over with a fine toothed comb. But somehow they missed an entire paragraph of the AI equivalent of that joke from parks and rec: "I googled your symptoms and it looks like you have 'network connectivity issues'"

  • I'm sure it was accidental at first, but eventually they found out bogs were great at preserving things. There are plenty of records of people putting food in bogs to preserve them.

  • Is this about true crime podcasts digging up old stories of murders for clicks, or is this saying that podcasters are the new radio stars, capable of becoming famous just from people listening to their voice?
