  • It's tarmac, though. Can't exactly rip up and replace tarmac every time there's a cocaine sale. Better to do as you suggest with the real story, and tell newspapers as much as possible. Hell, tell some true crime communities, they'll make such a ruckus that the police can't keep sweeping it under the rug

  • I haven't finished either game, but i agree with everyone else in that Wrath is a much better game in terms of balance and options, and there's no story overlap that you'd be missing if you started with wrath. If you get kingmaker on sale, the first arc is a decent story in itself and is actually the inspiration for my next campaign, so there's definitely some enjoyable content in there

  • He's as much of a progressive president as a drop of water when someone is dying of thirst. Sure, he's better than nothing, and he's definitely better than the last guy (which i guess in this analogy would be a pure glass of ocean water). But what he's done is not nearly progressive enough, and to suggest that he's been satisfactory is a gross overstatement.

  • Sleep research has moved on from recommending that everyone needs 8 hours or more of sleep. It's nothing more than a myth now. Everyone is different, and for most adults the amount of sleep necessary in order to be fully rested is considered between 7 and 9, meaning a lot of people are perfectly fine with just 7 hours, and some need even less than that. In fact this review from 2 years ago suggests that we can't even guarantee someone will be noticeably impaired with 5 or fewer hours of sleep.

  • I've got a nonbinary friend who presents somewhat feminine, and they always say that anyone who finds them attractive is gay by default. So I guess what I'm saying is I'm not totally straight

  • You're missing context on step 2. It's not just "We don't want to do XYZ", it's "We'd rather not share the profits we make off of this business with you, in fact we'd prefer to pay you as little as possible while making you work as hard as possible, so we will not do XYZ." Rather than give their employees what they deserve, they'd rather ruin their lives until they're forced to come back to their old terms.
