Yep. It’s amazing how many people think all this should be handed to them. If everyone thought that no one would have anything.

A lot of applications turn it on when you aren’t in the room.

Syncthing isnt a backup. Its just a synchronisation tool. If you delete a file it gets deleted everywhere.

That’s a recent development. I also though you had to get a specific build, not the normal one.

Debian? First time i installed it wanted to use CD for packages instead of online. Don’t know why. Second time it didn’t have wireless drivers as these were non free.

It’s a great distro but not for newbies.

Yes. These things are unenforceable. Especially since you were never officially a lead on paper.

Is here too. So they had to take a whole month off in one go due to bad planning of holiday time.

I had someone boast that they had all their vacation days at the end of the year because they were so “devoted”. I just said it seems they have bad time management since this time off was included in schedules.

Regarding your comment on insulation. It’s amazing how many people don’t realise that insulation is important in cold and warm climates. Keeps the cold out or the heat out, reducing all bills!

I bought a gaming PC because I was so sick of stuff like this on GeForce now. Great service but implementation was annoying.

Also ended up sailing the high seas for some games instead of purchasing. Although a lot I did purchase after but some like Unravel have too much DRM content that I bought but never used the legit version.

We have an BMW i3. 8 years old. Battery is fine. But car is written off now because the inverter failed. 11k€ repair. Worst part is that due to BMW software locks it’s almost impossible for third party repair to work on the car. Any replaced part needs to be “blessed” by BMW.

I remember reading about a free bus scheme in London. If you were found being antisocial you lost your free bus pass. So there was an incentive to keep the buses clean.

I tried downloading and the website says the download was quarantined. Anyone else see this? I was able to download anyway.

If you are still on by choice then I’d agree with the OP. If you need it for work then that’s different, but you should be trying to move off it.
