Hexbear users remind me of the lulzsec days. They used to think they were special but really they were just fucking annoying.

I'm in the same boat. I'd like to leave Windows but since installing POP!_OS I've had issues with ending up with two versions of Firefox installed (yes snap and yes I've fixed that now). My Yubikey can't be detected until I found a post by another user with a fix. I am still yet to find a way to get VRR working.

There's no doubt that a lot of issues are user related but honestly I don't have this much trouble with Windows. This isn't the first time I've tried Linux and each and every time I find issues that I normally just give up on and revert back to Windows. I am trying though, I even purchased a second SSD dedicated for Linux.

I gotta say though Valve's proton software is amazing and without it I probably wouldn't be trying so hard to leave Windows as my primary game doesn't have native Linux support.

No but you can use API's from various alias services so that Bitwarden can generate your aliases for you.

The biggest downside is there is a cost associated with doing all this. I've gone from free to paying for a domain (optional), SimpleLogin and protonmail.

If you're going to use SimpleLogin and proton then look at their proton unlimited tier. I had SimpleLogin prior to proton so I only use the Mail Plus tier. SimpleLogin comes included in the unlimited tier.

I do the same. If I want to move mail provider in the future, it's just a case of updating the aliases to point to that new mailbox.

This is what I've done. I've literally just moved to Proton from Gmail. I created aliases for all my sites. The only site that knows about my Proton email address is SimpleLogin.

The only emails in Gmail now are from Google services tied to that Gmail account.

I used Bitwarden to help generate the aliases.

I'm not using Reddit since the whole API stuff got closed. However I posted something to get some tech help on a specific service online. Despite being nothing wrong with my post it was getting down voted. The mod perked up and said it's just Reddit and just get used to it. No thanks.

I miss the amount of content that would make me laugh but I don't miss the utter dickheads that reside there. I'm sticking with Lemmy.

Wow, I love this. I've generally relied on looking at stuff that hits the main feed to find content but this has opened up so much extra content that I didn't know existed. Great feature!

Edge was decent in beta and upon release. I find now though they have slowly been adding in their own features and now it's a browser packed with Microsoft's products.

Damn shame. I've not played the recent game but I loved Saints Row 3. Spent a lot of hours just driving around and beating people up with a dildo. Sad times.

I don't mind big screens but they are hard to use with one hand and in the pocket they are too big.

I didn't realise it until later on in its life, but the Pixel 5 was the perfect phone size for me. I hear the Pixel 8 is going to be smaller but the rumor is it has a 6.1" display.

6.46 inch display is too big for me. I'm desperate to find something with a 6" screen but it seems 6.1" appears to be the size most manufacturers are going for.

This phone looks like something I could dig though.

You have more control over the cars throttle. Like using the gears to actually slow the car down rather than just using the brakes.

Same in the UK.

If you haven't already you can delete your Authy account. You have to contact support and it takes a few days to complete but at least then you know you're not leaving anything behind.
